Conditions are in their favour, you have to fear for the test series. Bowling wise at least it’s pretty clear they’re stronger than us.

Can't see past a hammering in the test series to be honest, we are struggling big time anyway in that format, playing india I don't think will end well.

Pray for a typical English summer to come back and we’ll have half a chance. Otherwise forget it. Test team is a mess and it’s a shame we’re going to lose to India as I can’t stand the hype their media and fans give them when they get vastly overrated. That’ll just get worse now they’re up against probably our worst test team since the 90s. Winning in England is what they’re saying is the last frontier

Mind they have 25 times our population so they should be winning by an innings and 200 runs every test. #stjustelogic

Considering we have our 2 highest ever wicket takers, our highest ever run scorer, our captain who will probably become our highest ever run scorer, oh and stokes and bairstow too.

So cook, broad, Anderson, root, stokes and bairstow all in the same side, name me an england side that has ever had 6 players as good as that in it. I know exactly where you're coming from, the problem is the others in the side aren't up to it. Cook is obviously not what he was either tbf. I think we will lose easily to India. Fancy us to bounce back in the one dayers though

Especially considering the game situation that is one of the strangest ODI innings I can remember seeing from MS Dhoni. Seemed more intent on a net session than even making any attempt to help get to the target.

Very good all round performance from England. Spinners great job and also very happy Joe Root got a hundred not least as he will be needed to make a lot more with the Test series looming.

I said I fancied us to bounce back and we've done it in style by absolutely destroying them twice. Take a bow Joe root, already got the most hundreds in our history, superb player, the perfect player for our big hitters to play around. Lancs v York's on Friday night now for me, all our england players are back and Kane williamson, so basically we've got an incredibly good line-up.

I'm staying in Preston and watching it in the pub, nothing more frustrating than going into Manchester and it getting rained off. I'd have gone if I got tickets for the sports terrace but couldn't be assed with the queues in Foster's stand.

Yep doing the same now, was only gonna get a ticket outside but can't be arsed with on and off rain. Gotta fancy us tonight with all our england players back, infact got to fancy us to progress as well with them back after the good start we've made. Jos buttler is playing though and he's destroyed us before so he certainly may do it again.

Dunno, i'm feeling confident about our chances as well, obviously Buttler being available is a big boost but Livingstone are Davies are going well. Potential cracker if we actually get some play.

Quite an unlucky fixture with the weather , I've been at old Trafford and headingley in recent years for complete washouts. Must be so costly when it happens as obviously double the amount of people go to it than any other game.

Reflecting on last night's game, it was properly fantastic. Livingstone and Lilley were superb, but you have to give some credit to Dorkshire's batsmen, especially Lyth and Root, for getting them so close.

Our 1st 3 overs cost us, think we only got 22, which makes the next 11 more immense scoring 150 odd, that's the good thing about cricket, despite losing the biggest match it was thoroughly enjoyable, cracking attendance too, old Trafford is a brilliant venue now, overtook Trent bridge as my favourite now. I fancy us to make the top 4 though now we have the 3 england lads and williamson in.

Some good crowds around on Friday night. 13,000+ at Trent bridge, few of the smaller grounds rammed, the roses crowd, Edgbaston looked healthy. Get some good weather and people turn up. Who'd have thunk it.
