So - 1st round draw is tomorrow, anyone in particular you’re hoping to get?

Must say - I love this competition. Purely as Shaw Lane Associates have made it to the 1st round - is that a real team?

Fancy a non league team away from home and for it to be a team we have never played

Slough or Truro will do

Wonder who our annual non-league loss will be to.

Someone local away from home;

Halifax Town, Gusieley or Ossett.

Or

Grimsby, Lincoln or Shaw Lane at home.

FGR, Mansfield or Newport away as they're the only three league sides in the draw that I've never been to.

Bring on Brackley though.

What are the odds on Fleetwood drawing AFC Fylde ? it will be fantastic for them ( real giant killer in the making ) its actually nearer for me to go there than it is to go to Fleetwood, whoever its a highlight of the year and will be glued to the screen !

Sorry, you’re going to have to help me. Which one’s the giant?

Billericay away would be good if they win their replay

Oldham away for me, they'll knock us out and our game away to Blackpool could get rescheduled to Round 2 Saturday, depending on Blackpool also getting knocked out.
If not then Chorley home or away if they get through their reply.

Chorley away (if they beat Boston). Failing that, any other non-league team at home so we can put them to the sword.

Non league team at home, beat them and same again. Followed by Man Utd away in the 3rd round, get smashed and pocket the money to spend on a promotion push.

Who says the romance of the cup is dead.

If we get a non league away, it'll be a banker for one of the TV games expecting a 'giant killing'? They might even put us on if we get a home tie as well...

It would be nice to have a team we’ve never played before even though we will lose to whoever we get.

Truro away please. Very likely to lose that sort of game but it would be a proper awayday.

Going with the herd - anyone non-league away.

That said, not Boreham Wood, Brackley nor Boston all who feature ex-Dons who would be sure to have the game of their lives just to prove a point.

Kettering away would suit me. However the footballing gods are likely to award us another tie with Brackley or a dull fixture away at somewhere like Walsall where we'll lose.

Any village pub team away will do me but we never get good draws in cups so i'd imagine we'll be away at Exeter or at home to Newport.

Like most people have said, any non-league team away.

Preferably someone you have to google to find out where they are in the country and what hellhole of a league they play in.

Non league team + away + TV game = monies and win/win for both clubs

Looking forward to the draw. Jackett likes to treat the cups seriously which is a welcome change from Paul Cook.

I'll go along with the theory that scraping past two non-league teams in rounds one and two and then landing a big fish is the way to go. Aldershot would be nice as they knocked us out a few years back. I still have nightmares.
