I fancy Tonedeff, his flow is second to none, lyrically on point. Archetype ranks up there with the very best albums in Hip Hop and I ain't even mad.

Listened to Drake's new stuff? Meh as always.

His Tyga diss made me laugh though.

Ghostface Killah & BADBADNOTGOOD, Lupe and Joey Bada$$ all reasonable records.

About to sink my ears into Kendrick Lamar's new album. Oh boy.

Think this new Kendrick album could be a bit polarising with most people but I think it's absolutely incredible. Brilliantly constructed.

It's fucking shite. Instrumentally it's great if not a bit samey. Blacker the Berry is fantastic, i is ok, King Kunta is ok and institutionalised is good but mainly cos of Snoop's feature. The rest is instantly forgettable. He's a major disappointment on it as well, clever cultural/political commentary, complex construction...nah, it's just messy and he's not 'Kanye' enough for it to work.

Did anyone listen to the new cannibal ox record yet?

The cold vein was a classic but I'm worried that without el-p doing the beats the new one won't live up to the expectation....
