Yeah, Razak Boukari is currently in the middle of an injury crisis that hasn't seen him play a game in 47 months

Head medic at Wolves now saying it could be longer than a year...

Our Physiotherapists are usually off the mark on predicting injuries. One of our chief physios Tony Daley (who ironically was one the worst sick notes the club has ever employed) once failed to notice that one of our players (Seyi George Olofinjana) was playing for the past 8 months with a broken neck...

Hopefully he is wrong again now too :tw:

I meant more in he returned this season (finally) and then picked up a potentially career ending injury in a reserves match.

Yeh, he has had some awful luck with injuries. When we first signed him, he looked a better prospect than what Bakary Sako was for us. I think he's out of contract with us in the summer, and wouldn't be surprised to see him pack football in for good.

A real shame for himself and Wolves, from the few games he did play he looked like he could have gone far.

even then I seem to remember he got injured in pre season, was out, came back, got injured and then came back and the got that injury against Chelsea in the lge cup. I have never even seen him play on the tele for us, let alone in person. Been a right bastard nightmare for him.

Sounds like a broken leg for Alan Judge. Absolute awful tackle from the Ipswich player. Gutted for Judge as he will now miss the Euros which were a huge goal for him to play in.

Reckon he would have gone and played for them as well. Amazing player.

My fear is that I didn't go today and it's probably his last appearence in a Bees shirt.

Get well soon Judgey, and please sign a new deal!

Zyro came out on twitter and called MK Dons a classless, plastic club. Think it was in reference that Antony Kay hasn't apologised for that challenge that almost ended his professional career.

Robinson did it like 2 days ago, you don't know if Kay has. They might kept it internal.

Our manager, CEO and the Zyro himself has said there has been no contact with Kay. As far as I know we've only spoken to Pete Winkleman and Karl Robinson.

Fair enough, in all honesty it doesn't really bother me. It was a shit challenge but he obviously didn't try to put him out of action for a year. This is football and these things happen unfortunately, I wish Zyro all the best. Saying that he doesn't make me feel sorry for him with his last tweet.

Wolves have had some pretty bad luck this season, but so have we with injuries. Now we have most of them back, and some money in the bank, we should be able to push on a lot next season (all but Judge should be fit by then). This year was always going to be a tough one with this many injuries and the number of players we've sold.

Rough time out through injury (some players more than one) from this season next to each player.

12 months - Bjelland
11 months - Hogan
11 months - Macleod
8 months - Judge
6 months - Jota
5 months - Gogia
4 months - McEachran
3 months - McCormack
3 months - Colin
2 months - Djuricin
2 months - Hofmann

Assombalonga could be back on the bench tonight for Forest after being out for 12 or so months (I think?).

It's funny how Ipswich fans are (majority of them) are saying it was not even a foul/free kick, and others that are saying it was a free kick saying the yellow card is justified and nothing more.

Letter of the law, however, states that it should have been a red card. It was reckless (Yellow Card) but it was also using excessive force (Red Card). He did not need to lunge in like he did, certainly at the half way line, and certainly with our guy facing our own goal.

Brighton's injury and suspension list:
Uwe Hunemeier
Bobby Zamora
Conor Goldson
Tomer Hemed
Steve Sidwell
Anthony Knockaert
Dale Stephens
Lewis Dunk
Beram Kayal

All but one has regularly featured in the staring XI this year.

We've got one already.

Adam Matthews, pulled a hamstring trying to get within touching distance of Dwight Gayle...

8-10 weeks. Great. Mark Little our first choice right back now. Can we have Ayling back, Magic/KevinMcallister?

No surprise, we've really shot ourselves in the foot with this one.. Especially as little really doesn't look up to it in the champ.

8-10 weeks is short by this thread. We still don't have Dicko, Graham or Zyro back. Zyro unlikely to be back this season according to what I've read although Dicko played 45 last week for the u23 and I hope he is going to be on the bench for the cup this week.

We've got fewer injuries than I can recall for the past 3 seasons or so, usually have 3-4 out for the season by now.

Unfortunately we are still without our best player, Judgey out till Feb probably.

Apart from Little being the better performer on Saturday out of him and Matthews.
Matthews is the better defender of the 2, but Little is fine to fill in while Matthews recovers, Vyner will be back after the international break and Korey Smith at around the same time. Smith has been RB for Norwich and Oldham before, the latter under LJ. So we only have 2 games, maybe 3 where Little will be the only option at right back.

And one of those games is tonight's against a team where Little was more than good enough to play RWB a couple of seasons ago.

Matthews downgraded to about a month after his scan, however the injury may still have been the driving force for going for Moore over Ekstrand.

Moore is right sided and ekstrand is left.

I know, Ekstrand probably wouldn't have been training with us if we were just looking at right sided centre backs though, just Matthews being injured probably helped in the decision to spend money on Moore instead of bringing in another CB on a free in Ekstrand. Anyway this is turning into transfer rumour/designated BC thread territory rather than injury news.

Our forward Deniss Rakels is out for 4-5 months with a broken ankle, following the MK Dons league cup game on Tuesday.

Not good at all. We have the worst strikeforce in the league, and in my opinion he is / was our best striker..

Thought we needed another striker before Rakels got injured. Certainly do need another one now.

Mike Williamson looks set to leave the club without playing a single game since we bought him permanently. Out for the season with an injury that was expected to keep him out for 3-4 weeks will now last 12 months, and is out of contract at the end of the season.

Doesn't help when you employ a crock like Tony Daley as your fitness coach...
