Tommy Smith needs back surgery so he'll be out for three months. It does at least give Webster and Berra a good opportunity to build a partnership, but leaves us a bit short of cover at the back.

Macleod out for the season, again. Third season ending injury he's had with us in three years.

Massive shame as he looked a real talent in the few games he played for us, really able to pick a pass and a shot. You hope that this latest injury won't take too much of a toll but he'll have missed almost 3 seasons worth of football by the time he's 23, that's got to have an impact on his potential.

It's also yet another 9 month + injury we've had at the club, there's got to be a reason why it keeps happening as we seem to be being hit by it a lot more than any other team.

Well it was just a case of his foot getting caught like the Birmingham chap on Sunday..

Has he had such an injury before - maybe a weakness in that area?

I raise your Liam Macleod and give you Razak Boukari. Spent 3m and (30k a week in wages) on him the year we were relegated from the PL as our star signing. 4 injury plagued years later he massed a total of 6 appearances with us before he was released.

I know the feeling of having a quality player's career be destroyed by injury, Hopefully MacLeod can recover from this setback.

Stevie May has completed an hour and scored a hat trick in a bounce game today after suffering an ACL injury away at Fulham almost a year ago.

Hopefully he can be a decent option after New Year, if Beckford can stay fit :mell: then we'll have some good competition up top. Eoin Doyle aside...

Yeah he's been outstanding. Two ACL injuries at the star tof each season, both to the same knee. Fear he might be broken now, like George Thorne is.

Adam Bogdan's torn his ACL. Hopefully takes his time in his recovery and we never see him for Wigan again. Jussi in until January when we can sign a new keeper.

Hernandez out for another few weeks, when we have to play Liverpool, Villa, Brighton, Reading...

We're nowhere near as good without the little bastard :lac: Bridcutt back within a couple of weeks too at least.

Jack Grealish is out for 3 months with a kidney injury, and new Burton signing Liam Boyce is going to miss most of the season with a serious knee injury.

We have no fit central defenders and assuming we haven't registered a new signing by the midday cutoff today we might be playing Cole Skuse (perhaps swapping him to RB for Iorfa) & Jordan Spence, or some other fucktard combo as our two CB's tomorrow. #WTF

The only other enforced 4 I can see is Kenlock-Knudsen-Spence-Iorfa but we're still going to shit goals through that back line against Brentford.

Milan Djuric is out for 2 months. Matty Taylor is close to being fit though, apparently.

Abel Hernandez picked up a 6 month injury against us on Tuesday. One of if not the best striker in the league.

Cunningham had an op after hyper-extending his knee against Derby. Tendon has come away from the bone and a 28cm (I hope it's a typo and they meant 28mm) tear...

Out for 5-6 months.

At least you can switch Baker to RB and play your shit POTM at CB along with Magnusson/Heleger.

If Pisano isn't fit it will be Vyner, or even Korey Smith. No need to break up the CB pairing with POTM in it :ohy:

Pisano's back mate so works out alright, but it's got to be Bailey Wright's shirt despite how good Pisano has been.

Feel sorry for Magnusson/Hegeler, both too good to be sitting on our bench but no space for them atm.

Jordan Obita out for the season.

So now we don't play strikers, and have no left backs..

That will result in Tyler Blackett being deployed at left back for the whole season which is hugely worrying.

We're still without Kadeem Harris, Lee Camp, Callum Paterson and Rhys Healey. Though Camp and Paterson have featured for the reserves (latter getting a hat-trick from RB on Monday). Gunnarsson is injured for us also but was fit enough to start both Iceland games so there's that..
Only Paterson and maybe Camp would have a chance of starting if fit really.
