Gills v Rovers called off @ 11.30am.
Thats gonna be 1200 pissed off Rovers fans. Hopefully club will give free travel for those who can make the replay.

Bad decision, it's just light snow here, there's no way the pitch is unplayable. Can only think it must be for supporter safety, even then, the snow isn't laying.

We should be out of sight here. With our form and the way Shrewsbury get results there’s only one way this is heading.

It’s sad how predictable it is.

We’ve been clinging on to a tiny tiny tiny bit of play off hope but now it’s finally gone.

Come join us at our table, Bradford and ourselves could do with someone new to talk to.

We've been there for a while. Seem to think the rest of the league are letting us stay this high as they feel sorry for us.

What a fucking prick that ref was today. Never seen a more clueless, biased dickhead in my life.
Gave every single decision Plymouth's way unless it was stonewall for us.
No chance of playoffs for us now.

Genuinely surprised and happy at our win based on previous home form.

We were positive from the off and played with some intensity. Bond had a right flap for our 1st goal from where I was sat at the other end. He wasn't any better with the 2nd either although it was a cracking shot by James Henry that moved in the air. Mowatt was so unlucky with his long range shot that hit the inside of the post.

Good improvisation by Peterborough for their goal but we lacked concentration again after just scoring which contributed.

Unsurprised Steve Evans has copied the Westley tactic of a drinks break when his team is struggling. It is the same old, same old with him on the sidelines and clearly technical areas are irrelevant where Steve Evans is concerned.

Maddison's tantrum that got him booked was highly amusing and Marriott is a right moany arse.

Baldwin should have been sent off earlier with a late challenge on Malachi Napa considering Ryan Ledson was booked for the same thing about 2 minutes before.

Overall we were decent and definitely deserved the win.

Edit: Hilariously Steve Evans complained about the conditions calling them farcical and that the game shouldn't have been played as reported by Radio Oxford. It was perfectly playable although a bit cold and with a bit of snow that never settled.

I actually thought Evans came across okay in the interview. He said that he got it wrong, team selection and tactics, and that he couldn't take anything away from us as we were the better team. Plenty can be said about the man but I thought that was relatively gracious.

As for the game - don't watch as many as some but really enjoyed it despite the cold. We looked a bit more up for it than I've previously seen. Dickie and Brannagan showed promise whilst Lego was absolutely outstanding.

Agree that Posh keeper will be disappointed with both goals. Until the Ricardinho shot at the end, I thought they missed the better chances myself. They seem to have a lot of options up front and that sort of shows where we need to be if we want to talk of play offs in future seasons.

Huge three points for us.

...aannddd surprise, surprise, the highlights confirm how much a tit the ref was. Two pathetic dives for the penalties.
2018 and embarrassing refereeing decisions are still massively costing teams.

Two awful dives to win penalties for MK too apparently today. I don’t think we did enough anyway to win the game. It’s still annoying when that happens though, we have trouble scoring as it is. Puts more pressure on Dale and Oldham so not the worst result in the world.

For the first time Faz got his tactics spot on making Peterborough look ordinary from the kick off. Evans reffed everything on his side of the pitch but our team remained disciplined and thoroughly deserved the win.
I was impressed with our back line and midfield. Thomas offers so much more up front than just goals.

Not sure on the first pen but doesn't matter as it was missed anyway.

2nd one seems a definate penalty your player just swings his arm in our players face.

I agree on the penalties against you having seen them on the highlights, both dives although the 1st one is most blatant one.

It does matter because you equalised from the same phase of play.
Second one is clear playacting. You see the grabbing that goes on at set pieces with nothing given, yet somehow he's given a penalty for that. Lockyer puts his arm out harmlessly and he goes down like he's been shot.
Pathetic cheats.

Arm into his face I'm sure every player would get go down.
Still not sure on the first your players didn't contest the decision much if at all.

Anyway about the game thought we were shocking first half and you could've been a couple of goals ahead.2nd half we were the better team draw would've been a fair result.

Bitter much?

You lost and the better team won, end of.

Jesus Christ are you actually on opioids lad?

I was in block 8 the corner next to both decisions and they're as clear as day even though we missed one pen. Both blatant and the ref was spot on.

You were the better team first half but got ran all over second half and second half on this occasion turned out winners, glad we have put 7 points between us as you're a good side and that Ellis lad will go on to better things.

A final word is that we beat Bristol city 3-2 at Home in the last minute not too many years back, they made far much more noise throughout the game though for a sold out end.

Also for the second penalty (which was the winner yes that one), your man came half way between giving Songo'o the people's elbow and the Chris Benoit rip from the top rope, no chance on earth he's getting away with GBH like that!!!

Of course I'm bitter that we were robbed by a tit of a ref! That one result means that our season is over.
Hardly outplayed us did you? We were by far the better team in the first half, you edged the second.

I don't care where you were. You saw it in real time, the highlights are much more conclusive than your opinion. Dives. Cheats.
Of course, every team does their fair bit of cheating these days, but the ref bought right into it. Awful.

I could’nt go because working, so had to rely on the radio. Our commentators view was a) Songo was lucky not to be red carded in the first half b) the first pen was not a pen, and they said it was natural justice that we missed it c) for the second they felt there were two penalities in the space of a second or two, and initially they were not sure which of the fouls was technically being given the penalty. They were convinced both fouls were a penalty. D) they were rather surprised Partington (sp?) did not get a second yellow card for a deliberate handball.

The Mrs, who was there, said we were awful first half and much better second. With all the injuries we were just not firing. The kids were not massively happy about the idiots from both tribes who were getting a bit feisty near them. They could not understand why with an exciting match the knuckle grabbers were’nt watching the game. Wife and both kids said Matthews was awful, but Mrs was very pleased with the comments Remi received from fans on Twitter along the lies of “you had your first mare, you have been great, just move on.”

Anyway, probably a surprising three points, but I ain’t complaining. This is a hell of a roller-coaster season, thank you League 1!

It's the referee's job to get important decisions like that right in real time. We could all see that it was a dive then the highlights confirmed that afterwards.
Bloody hell.

Well you couldn’t all see it was a dive as the Plymouth fan who was sat close-by thought it was a penalty.

Simply its a case of fan bias again - the team that got the 2 penalties think they were certs and the fans who teams were sinned against don't.

How often do you see both sets of fans agree on any contentious decision!?

Having said that some Plymouth fans on their forum did say they thought the first was "soft"

Have you even seen the absurd decision? Of course he's going to say it's a penalty, and of course I'm going to say it wasn't (which it wasn't)
It was a blatant dive.
