Top 3? Think anyone would be foolish to write us out of that now.
I'm going to keep writing us off, it's worked in recent weeks!

Given our nasty run in I think it's just important to open up a gap to 8th. Anything else that happens is a welcome bonus!

Good night for us, still 5 points clear of 3rd and 4th. Hopefully we can pick up maximum points on Saturday and Lincoln can do us a favour and beat Mansfield.

Hello. Not sure if we’re gonna need to book a room here but it’s nice to pop our heads in.

Win our game in hand and we are sixth.
It's the hope that kills you.

Tranmere really pushing for the top 3 aren't they.

Bad trip up north for MK Dons.
I thought so and was convinced they'd make it - I don't even think they'll reach the play offs now having seen their remaining fixtures though! What a tough last 9 games!

Has Paul Tisdale never managed a team when it was wet and windy?!

He just admitted that he had no idea how to play a team to cope with the conditions!

Having managed Exeter for a number of years, based in one of the most windy regions of England?

The moment you win £140 from the £20 sky bet offer on the horses and lump the lot on Crawley or draw at 5/6 win that and still move back into the top 3.

Excellent

Our inconsistency is unbelievable. Absolutely shocking tonight, hopeless from start to finish.

We appear to have clicked again with 13 points from our last 15, which makes the Mansfield game, from our point of view, a completely different proposition to 3 weeks ago.

He just sounded totally dumbfounded and almost speechless about the weather -as if he'd never seen anything like it and you could not play any sort of football etc.

Incredible from Tis, we were really poor for the majority of it, just got to put it to bed and move on to Saturday,It was pretty farcical last night though, couldn't even take goal kicks because the ball wasn't staying still long enough for the keeper to kick it, looking forward to Stevenage and in particular Revell rearing us a new one as he usually does.

Well we are probably done with this thread now. First 45 minutes we were diabolical at Stevenage and Revell absolutely bullied our backline scoring from a corner in the process.

Second half, Wellens made a treble substitution and we were much better, although never really created anything clear cut against a fairly well organised Stevenage defence.

Our fans got more and more frustrated as Stevenage (which is well within their right if the referee isn't going to punish it) took forever to do everything and took the sting out of the game at every opportunity.

A last minute corner saw Vigoroux come up and the ball fall to him only for him to slip over, as he was running back the ball fell to their best player, Ilias Chair, who found the empty net from 60 yards or so.

For us Matt Taylor was useless and probably needs to call it a day playing wise, and Toumani Diagouraga put in one of the worst performances I have ever seen, lucky to stay on the pitch as well as he caught a Stevenage player with a flailing arm (more an arm smash than an elbow) and then made a stupid rash challenge through the back of a player. He was subbed at half time thankfully. We are still a work in progress and hopefully we'll be there or there abouts next season.

Finally, hats off to Tranmere, some run to give you a really good chance of promotion.

What? You can't be serious? I mean, you're going up automatically. You're swindon and you're massive and far too big for this league, you're gunna go on a massive run and win all your remaining games.

Hold on, wasn't it your good self that said Exeter would beat Lincoln and get into the autos yourself!?

Yet another tiresome comment from you DL. Pretty sure none of our fans that post on here have ever said that.

Why don't you just go and take your face for a shit?

You've been saying for the past few months how you definitely belong to this thread and you've definitely got a chance of promotion.... I've been saying it for ages, you're nowhere near good enough. You've finally admitted it. *Slow clap*

You can afford it more than us so three points would be appreciated.

Our home form is actually decent, think we’ve won our last 4 although against poor opposition (bar FGR)

Yep, I have to admit before last night's win I was a little nervous about these two home games given our indifferent form at Sincil Bank. But a defeat against Mansfield isn't the end of the world.

Anything is possible but I find it hard to believe we can beat Lincoln in our current form, especially considering we have so many injuries, hope Preston and Sweeney are back so we can revert to our trusted back three with Pearce.

True, I'd take a draw if offered now.

*If* we managed a win, though - 13 points clear of 4th, with 8 to play and MK and Mansfield to play each other as well with Crawley and Macceslfield next up before we head to MK ourselves...

March looked an ok month for us fixture wise so I'm glad we've taken advantage of it so far.
