This month is make or break for us. If we can survive this month and be in the Play Off's come 1st March, then we'll be fine and a good punt for automatics.

Heavy snow predicted for Tues between 7.00 pm and 10.00pm. If the game starts could well end up abandoned again if the forecast's right.
Might be a tough call to make.
Hope the camera man is quicker this time than at the first game he couldn,t get the rain off the camera lens fast enough ,mind you with snow it shouldn,t be so bad :)

We are the only team in the league this season who Bury have lost to at home and we are the only team in the league this season who Mansfield have lost to away. Also we managed to draw away at Lincoln in our league match against them, right when we had an injury crisis.

So the teams above us in the automatics do not scare us, because they should fear us!!

No chance of making playoffs without Stockley, far too reliant on him.

Apart from Boeteng and Moxey you've got a very average squad. Think you'll finish about 13th.

You're hilarious. I doubt you've even seen Nicky Law play

Why would a team fear a smaller club than themselves?

Mansfield and Lincoln look like they will be too strong to catch now. 1 auto place left imo.

Can't wait till Nicky Law & Surridge (Yes, that's right) both bag a double against you in a couple of weeks.

Agree on Lincoln, seems a bit premature on Mansfield though, one loss and they could be back to just a point above 5th.

Think Lincoln are nailed on promotion then any 2 from 5 down to MK Dons for the other two spots

Because we're going to stop you getting promoted that's why and we are bigger than you, that is non debatable.

Crucial day for us tomorrow. If we bring in another striker and CDM of sufficient quality then I can see us being a definite play off team and a shout for autos. But if we fail to do that then think we may miss out.

Plus the games coming up are against some teams in and around us so Feb is a massive month.

I still rate your team, below you I don't think an other teams are good and consistent enough.

10th Tranmere(31) - 45 points. Cambridge(A), Port Vale(A), Notts County(H), Exeter(A), Crewe(H)

Working from top to bottom, things have become a real grind of late for Lincoln. 2 draws against struggling teams isn't brilliant. Still, they aren't losing and nobody is really closing the gap from 4th downwards, so their automatic bid isn't really affected. Need to pick it up to fend off the 2 below them though.

Speaking of which, Mansfield came unstuck at Rodney Parade, but then so do a lot of teams. Big game for them next week against a suddenly resurgent Notts County at Meadow Lane. Still, most of the next 5 are winnable, so decent chance to turn up the heat on Lincoln and put some distance between them and the teams from 4th downwards. Bury are trying to hunt the top 2 down, good win at Morecambe, they too have winnable games against strugglers.

Tighter than a knats arsehole from 4th down to 8th. Colchester jump from 8th to 4th thanks to a comfy home win over Cheltenham, backing up a 4-0 win at Northampton. Yet again, they hit form and look like real contenders. Will it last though? Carlisle actually drew a game, incredible scenes. 3 of their next 4 are away, will need that strong road form to keep going. Still can't decide if they are for real and are sticking around, or whether it'll all fall apart.

FGR's home form continues to hold them back, only 5 wins all season, only 6 teams have fewer. A couple of local fixtures(ish) for them next, if they can't beat Yeovil then I'll start to really doubt their promotion credentials. Exeter keep grinding away, good 4 point return from MK Dons and Carlisle. A few more promotion rivals due up soon. Surely means their last 10 or so are favourable.

MK Dons continue to slide, not sure what's going on there. Still, got winnable fixtures, just a question of whether they can arrest this slide. Suddenly it looks like the play-offs may be the best they can hope for, not what I expected from a side of their quality.

Stevenage keep sniffing around, as do Tranmere. Think both lack that all over quality to really trouble the top 7 and both rely too much on their home form. But a sudden run of consistency from either could make things interesting.

No-one wants it, do they?

Too many draws for us at the minute, but we've let lots of leads slip - Vale, Swindon (9 men), Bury and today. We keep ticking over in sticky patches, though (draws used to be 'turning the corner'!).

Nothing seems to have changed for us for weeks.

After Forest Greens embarrassing home defeat against the worst team in the league today, they are now written off and no longer recognised as a promotion or play off contenders.

Sorry Chris but come on, at home against Notts County? :lac:

Throwing away the 2-0 lead against Mansfield the other week (helped by missing a sitter to make it 3-0 and put it to bed) is really biting us on the arse at the moment - flipping those points round would bring second well within reach.

As it is, far too tight and the sides below us all have a game in hand to shift us back down to 8th. Must win at Macclesfield next weekend before another big home game against Carlisle.

we play mk dons before then. Beat them and we could really make things feel comfortable for all four current playoff occupiers

Bury to win the league at 3/1 is a great price. Seriously thinking of throwing some money on that, as much as it hurts me.

If we could defend I would join you.
Going forwards we look like we have 5 Madonnas on the pitch
Defending we look like we have 5 Madonnas
