We've done that a lot too, thrown quite a few leads away, especially at home.

Yeovil parked the bus against us twice to great effect.
Didn’t see the away game, but at PP we played a 532 formation lacking creativity and didn’t really test Yeovil at all and they had a couple of decent breaks not converted.

We all have stats like that though, don't we?

A league table based on first halves alone has us second behind Exeter. We've spent more minutes (1,424) in front this season than anyone else in the division and only Tranmere have kept more clean sheets... something has clearly gone wrong along the way though haha.

Cracking first season back for you. May help you having the rest game on saturday in a way especially if Norwood has been carrying an injury.
We are decimated by injuries. I’ve no expectations for the playoffs.

How can the Slags not win any of their last 3 games and still go up?

Will be the shittest promotion campaign in history.

You should have to get like 82 points or one of the teams in the league above get a reprieve

Agreed, abysmal effort all round, starting to realise how poor the league really is this season, only took me the entire season

The concept of having to endure a trip to Newport should provide enough motivation for both MK and Mansfield on Saturday

At least if we get past FGR whoever plays us will have as many injuries as we do after playing at Newport.

Only if the reprieved team is Plymouth. Mind you, with the Trotters fiasco, some one may get a reprieve anyway. The AGM cup could make it in to the EFL

Anyone else built a shrine to Kevin Ellison in their living room last night? Just me? What do we need to sacrifice to get him to score a hat trick. Or maybe Richie Bennett can be motivated by the fact that he may well get a crack at the playoffs himself if he helps morecambe win and we make it into the playoffs.

Really is winner takes all now! Do Stags try and sit in deep and play for the draw (are the players/Flitcroft capable?) or play their normal game?

Well done to Bury. Could be a very weird close season for them with the off the field stuff!

At least it's provide further clarity for MK and Mansfield heading into the final game.

Gotta have a winning mentality surely?

You’d think. Tricky one though. If it goes quite long at 0-0 the temptation must be to start to dig in. I guess at least MK know they must win and will likely be pretty single minded in their approach. Still, worse problems to have!

Always try and win. Always. Yeah, they are definitely capable of grinding out a 0-0, but all it takes is one bad bounce, one poor reffing decision and suddenly, it's 1-0 MK and your game plan goes right out the window.

However, if you set up to go for the win, yeah you might concede, but there is a better chance of getting back into it if your mindset is to go and score anyway.

If Mansfield go with a 0-0 approach, don't have a go and lose, when it was theirs to lose, good luck getting them mentally right for the play-offs, when they could well be playing a red hot Newport team. Good luck trying to explain that one to a demanding owner. Good luck explaining that one to a demanding fan base, especially 4,000 of them who'll be there on Saturday.

It shouldn't be at all tricky for Flitcroft. Positivity beats negativity every time. Go for the win.

Agreed, be criminal to go in with anything other than a winning mentality and it’s looking more like 5,000!!!
