Just picked mine up from the club, I think she's pissed off behind the counter everyone asking how many left, she shrugged and said 15.

Agree. Brilliant stuff. Her dad and brother will be in the away end so i'm sure it will be very emotional for all. All 4 sides on their feet on Saturday at home was great to see, hopefully the same again on Saturday.

That'll be difficult

We like our 3 sides :P1:

Either way, it's nice to see. It'll pop up on the big scoreboard which'll be to the left hand side of where you sit

We're talking 50 tickets.

With the best will in the world, it's not a nice town and not a nice place to go. The ground is in an awful place and difficult to get away from. Early kick off means drinking is difficult, it's 3 weeks away from Christmas. You know I 1600 is a fair number, especially considering we sold out our initial allocation and the godawful way we marketed them. Silly rules about who was allowed to buy a ticket, I think a lot of people didn't bother because they thought they wouldn't get one.
For a bunch of supporters who often talk about how attendances are irrelevant, it's a strange argument to take up that's for sure.

After how much pleasure you've had from telling us about that time you came to ours and took three sides I don't we should let you off with this!

I wouldn't expect any different. I look forward to the return fixture, when Ticketmaster crashes in minutes due to demand from hordes of Stags fans :gmc:

I would estimate our demand for away tickets to be approximately double the number for the return fixture.

They'll probably end up giving us some of that side stand. Can't see the home ends selling out unless still battling relegation

Are we free to roam the streets of Mansfield tomorrow then? Went in Brunels last time and it was packed, don't want that so any recommendations?

Providing everyone's adults on both sides and not dicks, they should be welcome anywhere.

The Railway is a small but very decent pub (where i'll be) that does real ales and the folk are decent. I wouldn't expect the police to give you many options if you're coming over on the bus or train though.

The talbot and Il Rosso are decent up on Nottingham Road

Wouldn't think you'd have a problem. Maybe stick to a Wetherspoons or something (there's 4 to choose from).

Are they all reproducing?

I know there's the one by the town hall and the widow frost?

Quite like the Green Dragon as well.

The Courthouse (by the Town Hall) is no longer a Weatherspoons.

If I were you I'd try Sir John Cockle, Bold Forrester on Sutton Road, about 15/20min walk from the ground though. I imagine you'll get a drink in town but if you're in colours then you'll probably get some hassle in the town centre. Avoid Cornerhouse/Ram area down near the Bridge etc
