I'm assuming Oaf Didn't go this year!

I did, I'm just never on here anymore so didn't get around to mentioning it! I said after going to 31, it's kind of a bad move in the end because once you go to one you can't face the idea of missing out on it any other years so you sort of become addicted...

Surely the winner of this rumble Friday isn't just getting a trophy, surely a title shot would make sense?

Assume you had a blast?!

My predicitons for later, should be a decent event overall, think the Rumble may drag though. IC Title ladder match should be fantastic.

Undertaker (booooooooooooo poor Rusev!)
Seth
Jeff
Triple H
Nakamura
Cedric
Bluedgon Brothers
Wyatt & Hardy
Roman Reigns

As for the Rumble, no idea, don't really care, can't believe there is no title shot for the winner.

I feel so sorry for him. Read up on the various things Titus does for charity and youth working. You'll probably learn something because the bloke is a modern day saint but WWE rarely draw attention to it (compare and contrast how they lionize Cena for the Make a Wish stuff).

And now it doesn't matter what the guy does, inside the squared circle or out. He's always going to be remembered for a pratfall. It's his Shockmaster moment. His career has been reduced to a meme.

P.S. It's funnier with commentary.

With how much Vinnie Mac loves this sorta stuff it wouldn't be a shock if he ends up holding all the gold!

Classic moment.

What a weird event, like a glorified house show. At the end it all felt a bit pointless, nothing really happened besides the Raw tag titles. What the hell are the gonna do with the Universal title now?! Have they really given up on Roman beating Brock? Not sure if that ending (e.g. Roman touching first) was a botch, they took a while to mention it.

Whole thing was pretty gross, IMO. I’ve never been mistaken for a feminist (and I don’t imagine I will be any time soon), but the blasé attitude most people have taken towards this event only gives weight to the idea that there is a kind of hierarchy of victimhood and that irrational prejudice against women is often accepted or excused in ways that other forms of irrational prejudice (e.g. racism) never would.

What WWE did here is not significantly different from, say, running a show in Apartheid-era South Africa and leaving all its black performers at home. Oh, and then allowing the South African government to use the show as a platform for its self-aggrandising bullshit propaganda. Imagine the sort of media shit storm that would have been kicked up (quite justifiably) over that.

Well that was pretty fucking dreadful.

Miz/Seth was a brilliant opener then it all went down hill.

Aj/Naka was okay then they end it like that...

the upcoming Showdown PPV seems very predictable... although the one benefit is that it is going to be on at 9am on Saturday BST

Be interesting to see If Vince cancels this PPV in Saudi Arabia with the current political ongoings he would lose a big chunk of money on the one hand but a lot of Americans could be pissed off if they don't

It wont be, too much money involved.

In other news, Jericho widely rumoured to be debuting in Impact wrestling at bound for glory, he is a very savvy man and the fact that Cyrus is involved probably helps

Not that this will affect his WWE status as everything seems quite amicable in the wrestling world at the mo

A few places reporting that it will be removed but nothing confirmed yet. Apparently all the matches will be moved to SS

Apparently they're going to make a decision tomorrow. They seem to have dropped mentioning Saudi Arabia at all on TV.

seems to be a lot of throwaway matches getting added to it. all filler no thriller?

current line up

1 Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins
2 Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
3 Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Tournament winner
4 Triple H vs. Batista
5 Kurt Angle vs. John Cena (Not confirmed yet)
6 Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
7 AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
8 Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

Daniel Bryan title still tbc, as are all three tag titles and the I/C too at least 13 matches between the warm up and main event

And the US title, ARMBAR and Women's Battle Royale (assuming they do these). Not forgetting Taker possibly turning up...

What is ARMBAR?

Also, add Asuka's title defense to the list above.

Do it over two days, maybe? Most people treat Wrestlemania like a four day weekend already. NXT on the Friday. WM on Saturday and Sunday. Raw on Monday (Smackdown is moving to Friday, isn't it?).

The Hall of Fame could be ditched. They're running out of people to induct anyway.

It's madness. Even the HoF overran ridiculously last year.
