I'm not going to pretend I watch a lot of Championship football, but I live in Leeds and I'd like to see a good Leeds Utd. side in the PL. Based on this display, aint gonna happen this season for sure, and the current incumbent in the hot seat looks like a rabbit in the headlights, if he doesn't get replaced this season I'm sure he'll be finished soon after in typical Leeds panic style. Poor all over the park, and players who look unconcerned about getting bummed 3-0 by a Tony Pulis side, Leeds need a f*cking miracle if they are going to go up this season.
Well done Middlesbrough btw, absolutely bossed it! :bg:

Wont happen this season, and unless they improve the team dramatically, it won't happen next season either.

the man truly at fault is Orta, everyone knows this but apparently the board, so they sacked a capable coach and used him as a scape goat for poor signings, not gonna sugar coat it I was wrong early on in the season when I thought we'd signed a few decent players, we've got 2 good signings from Orta and 1 decent signing the rest are utter rubbish

Jansson is definitely leaving this summer and who would blame him, can't say with confidence that Saiz won't either

So hard to be that definite in football mate, so hard to forecast the next game never mind next season. They should try the obvious like Middlesbrough have, hire a manager with a proven track record. I cant see Allardyce lasting at Everton for the long term, so why not hire the old toad to get Leeds into the PL? I think he would be a good fit...

That's their main problem, they keep getting in 3rd rate managers, although I thought monk was not too bad. They could do with a strong head who's been about a bit. Doubt Allardyce would go there, tbf. They are a big club, but just too much baggage.

Common in football these days, too many clubs with a twitchy attitude when there is a run of poor results. Leeds need long term stability for sure.

imo DOF have no place in British football, complete control to football brains not executive people like Orta

Agreed, Monk seemed to be a good acquisition, but I think you're wrong about BFS, he will go where the money is. I also think he would see Leeds as another triumph on his CV if he was to get them in the PL and stabilise them like he did with West Ham, so I think he would consider it for the right money. I would like to see a club with history like Leeds (or Villa for that matter) back in the PL, all due respect to Bournemouth, Brighton, Huddersfield etc.

I personally think other clubs in the prem would snap him up, who have more money than Leeds. I definitely see where you're coming from though, because he would sort them out over time. We got lucky in a sense, that we've got Brucie. It's not pretty, but he usually gets the job done.

Yaarp, always liked the man with the boxer's nose, you are in better hands than you have been for a while.

Neves suspended for Leeds now ffs.

You won't need him to beat us.

Weidwald is horrendous.

One of the main contributors to our defensive record. He's a basket case, punches instead of catching and flaps under pressure, not to mention his inability to communicate or command his area. The back 4 have no faith in him and it really shows. We seriously miss a leader like Bartley at the back - Cooper isn't up to it.

As has been previously mentioned, Orta appears to be the problem. TC wasn't the best coach and had no plan B but Orta's signings have been mediocre at best. The only real 'hits' in terms of recruitment have been Saiz (who won't be here in August), Forshaw and arguably Lasogga (although not when you consider the money he's on).

We were shambolic on Friday evening and Wolves will do exactly the same to us on Wednesday. Any hope of the playoffs will be well and truly gone by the time we k/o against Reading on Saturday.
