Not for the first time Zverev beat Federer.

Certainly the star of the future?

He's really kicked on this season. Once he fills out a bit physically he'll be competing for slams imo.

Nadal world number One now after Federer pulls out of the current Masters event.

I expect Federer will be favourite for the US Open though?

.
I see the US Open is chasing the money and TV ratings rather than doing the right thing by following the French Open and Wimbledon and not giving convicted drugs cheat Sharapova a wild card.

Hopefully she draws someone decent and gets binned in the first round.

The way he was speaking the other day, he sounded a bit uncertain if he'll be fit enough himself to play it. Surely he'll want to with Djokovic and Stan out for the season and Murray with his hip issues, it'll just be between him and Rafa you'd think to win it.

Kyrgios seems to have found his form after a few months suffering injury and inconsistent performances.

Same for Dimitrov.

Guess who had Murray in his team and now can't seem to remove him.....

Wasn't looking good for Murray but still disappointing seeing he's had to pull out. The season just never got going for him did it.

No run to the semis for Konta - knocked out on day One.

Couple of Brits through including Kyle Edmund.

British interest over - Edmund pulled out injured when 2-1 down.

Cilic now out too which means the bottom section of the draw is a free for all!!

Long term gains.
Cameron Norrie’s absolutely flying at the moment. Back to back challenger title wins and he’s up to 111 in the rankings. Hopefully he can make some progress in the slams next year.

Looks like Konta might miss out on the WTA finals - guess that is what happens when you lose in the 1st round in 5 consecutive tournaments.

The World Tour finals organisers will be hoping Nadal is fit enough.

At the moment it really is last man standing!

Terribly sad news that Jana Novotna has died of cancer aged only 49.

One of my earliest memories of watching tennis was her blow the Wimbledon final to Hingis. I was delighted when she won it the following year.

RIP

Very sad - think it was the 93 final she really had taken from her so like you say glad success was to come .

Also a very good doubles player.

Didn't know she was ill at such a young age with lots to offer I am sure.

Yeah its tragic that, I always liked Novotna. She was quite a robotic player but a real likeable personality and I was overjoyed for her to bury those demons finally when she won Wimbledon. And as said by Super Horns, she was one of the top doubles players of her time.

RIP Jana.

Sounds like Murray might need an op on his hip - don't think we will see him in action for a while .

Federer is looking nailed on for Grand Slam no.20. All the other big guns have injury problems.

This could be the end of Murray as a top level performer. Hip injuries never properly go away
