Sitting in my hotel room in Edgeware (Jebus, so much of London is a run down sh*t hole when you get down to it) about to set off to catch the tube. Desperately hoping for a home win, but I'd take a draw. Man City seem to be locked into an "open game" mindset lately, open games with goals galore. My forecast, therefore is;

Tottenham 2 Man City 2

No Son in the first 11!
So Lamela lines up in there alongside Alli, Kane and Kane.

:whistle:

1. what the fuck was that from lloris
2. Spurs have been horrible, got this all wrong. They should stop wasting three players on a pressure that has no chance in hell working. You can't constantly press City, you need triggers. The way they got passed around for the first goal was very telling.

Also, drop the line when there's no pressure on the ball carrier. Pub teams know that yet Spurs seem to think the likes of Silva and De Bruyne won't notice their rapid front three are in acres of space.

Spuds should be down to 9 already. Moss is having a shocker.

The rules have been changed, if it's a pen it's not a red card (presuming you mean Lloris). Funny thing is, had the ref got it right (I think) and called it a free kick it would have been a red card.

Pathetic from Lamela. Sterling would have been proud of that.

Well that was undeserved, although City have taken their foot off the gas a bit.

Unless it’s violent contact then the double punishment still applies.

Actually it doesn't even need to be violent. Just considered deliberate. If the ref thinks you tried to ppla the ball but just got it wrong it's a yellow. If he thinks you made no attempt to play the ball, a professional foul, he can still send you off.

Feeling a little bit like a bowl of petunias next to a sperm whale at the moment...

Going to say it's a shame Sterling can't hit the net as well as he dives but even he couldn't miss that.

Just need City to stop Kane scoring now for a good day.

Just his 22nd goal of the season.
