Good point, your system is perfect and definitely doesn't need to change at all.

Also, having a plan B is an awful idea, isn't it?
Are you having a bad day mate?

No, our system isn't perfect but it's working well enough with our current personel. And Origi/Sturridge/Solanke is a very fine plan B for a team of our quality.

Convince Zlatan to join you and he'll get his head on all those set pieces you keep conceding from.

Sorted.
Erm we had Benteke and that plan didn't work did it. Try again Schtevie. ;)

Is any response a "bite" nowadays? Raise your standards, an emotional response is a bite, no less.

Please someone at least link us to Draxler. I'd even take a Daily Express "exclusive" now.

Benik Afobe's odds to join Swansea have plummeted, more likely to leave than he is to stay so they say. Interesting...20m and we might talk.

Be a poor deal for Swansea. I don't think he's good enough for the Premier League.

Bony is only supposed to be costing 13mill. They've got Tammy on board. If they bring in the targets mentioned before, they'll have goals in them.
They can consider Afobe if they get relegated!

Spurious rumours seemingly out of nowhere that Watford may have an interest in Slimbob squarepants. Silva was asked about him for some reason in his press conference and he said he thinks he could help Watford (Silva managed him for 1 season at Sporting). Please take him. Its not that he's bad, he just doesnt fit our team with Vardy in the side and now Iheanacho has come in Vardy is well covered. He'd suit Watford better. For us he's more a plan B.

Resorting to using United trainees rather than promoting City youth players. How embarrassing.

Evans would be a very astute signing for City Football Group. He was brilliant in Ferguson's last season, his partnership with Rio for a large part of that season was key to us winning the title. But the following two seasons under Moyes and van Gaal completely shot him of all confidence and he desperately needed a fresh start. He's had a solid few seasons at West Brom, is looking more confident than ever and knows what it takes to win a PL title.

And unlike Stones he can actually defend as well as play the ball about a bit.

Davinson Sanchez: Tottenham sign Ajax defender on six-year deal

Tottenham have signed defender Davinson Sanchez from Ajax in areported club record £42m deal, subject to a medical and a work permit.

The Colombia centre-back has agreed a six-year deal and will be the Premier League club's first summer signing.

"I am very excited to be signing for such a famous club as Tottenham Hotspur," said Sanchez, 21.

"I am looking forward to working with [manager] Mauricio Pochettino and the players and meeting everyone there."

He added: "I would like to thank the coach, management, players and fans of Ajax. It is a great move for me to come here to develop my career."

The deal for Sanchez exceeds Spurs' club record fee of £30m paid to Newcastle for France midfielder Moussa Sissoko 12 months ago.

Tottenham boss Pochettino said on Friday he wants four new recruits before the end of the transfer window and "expects the club to sign more players".

It'll be good to get Dier out of the back 3 and have a backup when Jan and/or Toby get injured in Dier on the bench. Not going to lie, I've only seen him play once and his teenage CB partner was the stand out player!

So Evans and Keane left Man Utd for about £8m in total, and are both now likely to end up at top 7 clubs for about £50m. How much have Man Utd spent on the centre back position in the last few years?

Also Liverpool should just sell Coutinho.

Sanchez is considered the best cb in the Eredivisie, but 40mill does seem nuts.

Paul Joyce reckons Phil has told Klopp he doesn't want to play for Liverpool again. If that's true and Liverpool refuse to sell, I hope he enjoys watching the world cup from his sofa.

That's fucking ridiculous. We should have sold him, we won't get another chance now and he wants to go. On the flip side we can't spend the money we already have.

I can see the benefits. Home grown, PL experience, international experience and all that, but it's not very inspiring, especially for the figures being quoted. Basically shows that transfer fees are so insane as to be almost pointless. It's just millions of pounds shuffling from one organisation to another like banks selling debts to each other.

Which is why they don't have to sell him. They supposedly had an extra £140 mill to get VVD and Keita in too which hasn't been spent; whats an extra £113 mill on top of that with 2 weeks remaining, when as you said, we can't spend the money we have.

If we don't sell what's Coutinho going to do, sit and sulk the season? Na he'll have to get on with it otherwise he won't be going to the World Cup with his mate Neymar.

Where did you see that? It's not on Joyce's twitter...
