It's probably born from lazy journalism, but if Sanchez goes you would expect Arsenal to be interested in Mahrez to some degree. If I were an Arsenal fan, I'd be on that YouTube channel shouting nonsense, but also I'd be pretty happy with Mahrez as a replacement for a sulky Sanchez.

Think Liverpool should be looking at Draxler over Lemar, just wasting away at PSG and was rated more highly than Coutinho not too long ago.
Bollocks. Julian has been benched due to Neymar's arrival but he's since been given his chance in central midfield and has excelled in that role. Easily one of our top performers in the first half of the season. No way are we letting him go.
Do your research, Rene.

I rate Can. I think he'll become a top CM in time.

To be fair I stopped paying attention to PSG (and anything outside of United) after October...was reading an article earlier in the day that said he had only played 90 minutes three times for PSG this season. I''ll take your word for it. He's a cracking player though, the sort of player Liverpool should be inquiring about.

This stat is accurate but his time of substitution always came after the 65th minute meaning that he always plays three quarters of each game he starts. Possibly my favourite of the current squad (I haven't liked any of our squads since the qatari takeover). In terms of minutes on the pitch, he's the 12th most used player by Unai which makes him pretty much a starter (not sure why Unai keeps subbing him but I suppose it's easier to sub someone like Draxler than someone like Neymar).

Get to fuck. Can is mediocre at top level football and I'm not renowned for underrating Liverpool players.
If you can't see the good stuff he does especially in Europe, then more fool you.

He can't even get into German midfield mate. And He probably never will bar odd game here and there when others need rest. He is a decent squad player but we as a club won't go far if we think Can is world class and some one we can't improve on easily.

Alisson and Mahrez being linked heavily. Surely we will sell Migs or Karius?

I never said he was world class, but the potential is definitely there for him to be the complete midfielder. He is being integrated into the German side more and more, much like Werner is. I reckon he'll start the vast majority of the games for them in the World Cup this year; or if not, then certainly the Euro's in a few years when he is at his peak.

Mignolet definitely, Karius is here to stay (sorry Pags you'll have to deal with it).

Perhaps. But, if so and given how utterly shit he is, it makes me question if Klopp is prepared to allow his stubbornness get in the way of what is best for the club. I hope not and fingers crossed he eventually sees what everyone else in the world realises. Neither Karius or Mignolet are good enough.

As I keep saying it's too early to decide on Karius. He was a bit iffy at times the other night but he wasn't at fault for the goal, the last egregious error I remember him making was in the first Sevilla game in the CL which is a good while back now. He'll still be here next season so we'll see how he develops further.

Mignolet will be off I reckon and we'll see if Klopp brings in someone else or finally promotes Ward and see how that goes. The outfield players are more important to get right and if he does that I think Liverpool can challenge for trophies once more.

Liverpool should go for mkhitaryan as a coutinho replacement. Mourinho is ruining him and I'm sure Klopp would get the best out him. Maybe Mata as well

Even if that were true, the chances of United selling any player to Liverpool (and vice versa) is approximately the square root of zero.

Ya that's true. He should look for a way out of United anyway. Go to any club sign a short contract and maybe Liverpool could buy him off them in the summer. I know that's not going to happen but it would be something new. Or maybe players have done that sort of thing before

Werner not good either. It really says a lot about the state of German football when the only up-and-coming striker they have is him. Klose was twice the player he is at the same age.

His career with us is over. Not good enough for us I'm afraid.
