Very very bad according the Radio Lancs commentators.

They gave our man of the match to Mancienne.

Truly horrendous second half. Didn't think they were that bad first half, we were very fortunate to be ahead at half time.

Forest looked solid against us, and yet awful against Preston. Sums their season up, no consistancy.

I'd rather wait to the summer and bring someone better in. If he can't score for Bournemouth in the prem, i'm not sure how useful he would be for us.

The Afobe deal is a no brainer. A £1m loan fee and we pay his wages for a player who is garunteed to score us goals down here. There is also no obligation to buy him, only an option in our favour. The only realistic way I could see us collapsing is that we don't score enough in recent months (ironic since we're the leagues top scorers). With Afobe goals that won't be a problem.
So which is it

He was clearly on about not wanting him permanently. Loan is ideal for Wolves.

He even mentions the no obligation to buy him in the second post.

A very poor attempt at trying to make someone look silly, great attempt at making yourself look silly though, Paul.

Wasn’t even talking about the loan.

He mentions how unsure he is about Afobe’s goals record and then posts later about guaranteed goals.

But don’t let that stop you being patronising.

No, he’s unsure about Afobe’s goal record in the PL.

Funny you’re accusing me of being patronising when you’re trying to pick at someone’s posts without reading them properly.

He specifically said his goal record in the Premier League, you've made yourself look a bit of a dick by trying to do the same to someone else.

So which is it

The first post you quoted me on was a reaction to buying Afobe outright, which was what Bournemouth initally wanted, and something we didn't want. Something I still stand by. Afobe's record in the PL isn't so great, so being forced to sign him at the end of any loan deal didn't sound like good business, especially if we were to be promoted.

The second post you quoted was reaction to that we had signed Afobe on loan, with no obligation to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer. It makes sense having him this league because he is a proven goalscorer at this level.

Hope that clears it up.

It does and I’ve clearly misunderstood.

Still wish Bobbin wasn’t so patronising though.

What was patronising about it?

It appeared as though you were trying to be funny and I called you out on it. Turns out it was just a misunderstanding, don’t take it personally.

Wasn’t trying to make Mark look silly, as much I want to. Was genuinely confused at the two points he made because I didn’t read/understand it properly.

Crying at someone being patronising cause they've mugged you off on a football forum, after you failed to mug someone off on a football forum. Get over yerself Paul
‘Crying’, way to exaggerate things Aaron. Will fuck off back to my part of the forum and leave you guys to it.

Talksport reporting tonight that Andre Silva is a done deal for 34m in the summer, providing we go up.

Joe Mason looks like the latest Wolves player to go to Colorado Rapids. A year ago we rejected 5m from Bristol City for him :ffs:

Just think, that £5m could have gone a long way to going towards a promotion push.

Never mind.

Agreed the money doesn't really mean anything now thanks to Fosun. Still £5m for Joe Mason, he's probably worth £1m at best. Sums up the crazy market at the minute.

Joe Mason signed on loan to Colorado Rapids until October. He joins Jack Price, Kevin Doyle and Neil Emblem in signing for them in recent times.

Any chance we could get PaulHaddock back in this forum as a regular Guest Commenter? Haven't seen so much solidarity in a long time!

Flint new improved deal until 2021, absolute filth.

Must be on at least £25k though, his last deal he signed was a bloody good one.

Good for the club and him, will have a release clause I expect, protects both.

He nearly left after signing his last deal so this might be protecting the club as well (buy out clause). I agree he's got to be our top earner now or at least equal with the likes of Fammy and Baker.
