Not many clubs want to pay 1.5m for a 32 yo GK, I'm guessing. Looks a good signing on paper, but we need about four or five more signings of that quality to avoid a big struggle this season.

Is Bradshaw going to be back for next season? I'd almost forgotten you signed him...

Bialkowski set to sign.

Was outstanding until last season. Far too many individual errors. Before relegation he was on £20k a week so unless his relegation clause was massive, not a cheap buy there.

Apparently bid 1.9m for Robinson off Everton who we had on loan last season. Would be fairly happy with that if true, very rough round the edges but only 21 so could become a high value asset within the next year or two with sufficient improvement.

you spending a lot this summer? £2m on a left back when its not a 'key position' is a decent investment when you need to replace Powell & James. Do you have a keeper?

Walton may be one that comes here.

Our chief scout was at Brighton and wanted to sign Walton last summer but our then goalkeeping coach David Coles didn't want to work with him. He was relieved of his duties last month, so wouldn't be surprised if we did go in for him.

Maenpaa and Walton would be incredible competition for the number one position. Think O'Leary has a decent loan lined up.

Is Walton any good? Don't remember Wigan fans raving about him.

Very impressive keeper for 23 years of age I think, if we signed him permanently he could be our number one for as long as we're in this division.

No idea, the club haven’t given anything away in terms of finances. We’ll definitely be going heavy with the loan market, if the Benfica link comes off it would be a big boost. End of the day, we have no “young sellable assets” that the likes of you and Brentford do and we have to change that in order to make money in this league. James was a complete one off, it’s unfair to call anyone we sign this summer as his replacement because he’s an irreplaceable player.

Yeah we need a keeper, I’d love Walton back, he splits fans because he likes his goal line and made a few proper howlers last season. But those fans are thick, he’s a great shot stopper, his clean sheet record speaks for itself and he’ll only get better at 23.

Yeah, that's fair enough, how has Windass done? we tested the water for him a few times by all accounts.

I think that Lopes will turn good, impressed me a few times.

5m they turned down for Lopes at 17... ended up selling him for a fraction of that.

Surprised he's still only 20 with 100+ games under his belt.

I hate Windass and most fans do as well. You can tell he genuinely thinks he’s the bollocks after playing in front of 50k at Rangers every other week, but he’s inconsistent (one good game for every five bad ones), has no fight, the heart of a insect and doesn’t work for the team. Basically everything our fanbase hates in a player. Shame really because he’s got talent and has a few goals/assists for us, but his attitude will wreck his career. The moment we bombed him out the starting XI we went on that end of season run. He was linked with Stoke for 3 million a few weeks back, I’d snap their arm off if it were true.

Seen Lopes once so far (FA Cup) and he looked woefully out of his depth which led to him getting farmed out on loan. Posh fans couldn’t believe we’d signed him. Don’t want to write him off at his age, but he looks a long way off this level, he needs to figure out his best position and stick to it.

Bloody hell, tried to give you a bit of optimism in regards to saleable players and you've thrown a sack of shit in my face.

Kipre has the attributes...

 Just because I think Windass is a c**t doesn’t mean he isn’t saleable.

Kipre’s a good shout granted. I forgot about him. Morsy is our best player but he’s not young so won’t command even half of the figures you and Brentford tout around for your players.

Not if he's an alternative to Browne.

He's a quality player hence why he's played for clubs that have finished 4th, 6th and 8th in this league.

Browne is better currently but you can't have one player for one position, he's put in far better performances than anything I've ever seen from Harrop.

Hoping he resigns, doubt he will though.

Oh yeah he's better than Harrop no doubt but on that thread i'm talking 11 v 11.

I think if Browne is unavailable, Potts will fill in although he seems more effective out wide.

Think Muric is going to Forest, annoyed with that.

Comes down to the wage contribution.

Doubt we'll be able to bring in better.
