Potential movements from L1 and the NL into L2.

In L1, I've included all the way up to Doncaster and Oxford, although with two games in hand you'd fancy them to see themselves safe. Bury are looking, er, buried. Rochdale's games in hand have dried up but have clawed some points back.

In the NL, you can now finish mid-table and get promoted with the new PO system, which was introduced this season.

I've included down to Bromley because they have games in hand due to their FA Trophy run.

Tranmere had a (very) slow start and that could cost them. Since then, they've been in very good form. Wrexham, Aldershot and Boring Wood have been there or thereabouts all season but had a drop off in form that has seen Sutton and Macclesfield open up a bit of a gap.

Sutton currently top having played a game more.

All sides with 3G have agreed to put proper pitches in if they get promoted. Sutton are one (Boring Wood and Bromley, too, maybe?).

Things could look a lot more "North West" next season.

Macclesfield and Wrexham (served their time like Grimsby, Lincoln and ourselves) would be my bet from the Conference. Tranmere seem quite capable of shooting themselves in the foot again but would still add to the NW complement should they stagger back.

If Rochdale can use their cup form and games in hand to survive, I could see it being at the expense of Wimbledon rather than Oldham. Anyway, two more from the NW is favourite. My bet would be Bury, Rochdale, MK and Cobblers - with at least 2 of them favourites to keep up the YoYo tradition and bounce back with the other two hopefully dallying with back to back relegations.

It's definitely better than it was a couple of years ago for certain, when I think our 4th most local game was Peterborough - just the 230 mile round trip! It looks like we're destined to get Accrington, but if we can get Luton, Wycombe and Coventry up and get rid of Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and maybe Fleetwood (unlikely) then it's not a bad trade off. With Blackburn, Shrewsbury and Wigan all potentially getting out of the top end of League One then the third tier will be distinctly bereft of North-West visits for us next season.

Living in Manchester (especially for voyeur magpie) bury and Rochdale coming down would be good. I'd rather chop my foot off than go to Oldham, but will probably be persuaded anyway.

What is so bad about Oldham, yes its usually about -25 but it' a decent ground, good away end, decent set of fans also.

Dover itself is pretty grim. To be honest most towns in Kent aren't great, but there aren't that many of them dotted around what is quite a large county. If I was coming down for the weekend I'd probably stay in Canterbury rather than Dover.
