Shame about Salford, that will be insufferable next year. Kidderminster for the food, then Stockport, from the playoffs.

Kidderminster’s food offerings make Cambridge’s glorious bacon roll look like a dog turd wrapped in tramp vomit. I would rejoice if they returned.

Chesterfield are doing a York i.e. having one of the top budgets for the division and managing to completely mess it up.
Do they really have one of the top budgets? They seem to have a really young squad? Or have I got that completely wrong?
Just coming back to this, apparently one of the Chesterfield Director's has said it's £2.3m this season.

Well that's now Chesterfield down barring a 19 goal swing.

Unfortunately for Barnet, Grimsby and FGR also won today. Barnet vs Morecambe on Saturday could be interesting if Morecambe lose their game in hand on Tuesday.

It'll be us joining Chesterfield. Morecambe will lose on Tuesday but then against us, Kevin Ellison in the 89th minute equalises and sends us down.

To be honest, it's nothing more than we deserve. There have been a lot of teams that have been a shambles when they've been relegated down here, and we fit right in. The chairman needs to have a long think over the summer whether he's the right man to make the football decisions.

So in North with Salford winning the league yesterday the playoffs are currently looking like this:

Quarter Final
Kidderminster v tbd
Stockport v tbd

Semi Final probably will be

Harrogate v Stockport/Tbd
Brackley v Kidderminster/Tbd

Feeling a bit more hopeful about our playoff hopes than I did 2 months ago.

Don't think they are, but do they show NLN and NLS PO's on TV via BT Sport?

As Viking magpie would comment about my knowledge of manchester, at least I can point any chesterfield fans in the direction of Salford city for next season

If Barnet go down they should sack Martin Allen, and then get Martin Allen to replace him.

I lived in the NQ for 3 years and went to Salford probably about 3 seasons ago when they played Matlock Town. The ground was a shed and there was about 300 there.

I look on FGG quite a bit and see they've completely rebuilt the ground and it looks smart. They'll be a force next season I suspect. We've involved with the sponsorship via Super 6 at work and there budget is more than a fair few in League Two.

Oh yeah, looks great from a distance.

From up close, you'll see it's just the minimum needed to meet ground grading regulations. Portacabin toilets, generators and 'refreshment bar' that consists of a table where they sell you pints of beer poured from cans. Won't miss that place.

Salford’s new build is horrific.

They have somehow taken amazingly the same template at for the awful Scunthorpe’s Glandford Park and somehow, some way done Glandford Park without the character.

It’s cheap seats, tiny stand, metal temp terraces, half ars*d bogs.

Can’t wait for Orient’s televised opening day defeat there so BT can wank themselves silly over a bankrolled tinpot club owned by famous people.

Oh they’ll be on all the time. Can guarantee that chesterfield and Salford will be moved.

It’s ridiculous that they show so many games from that dodgy league, but in the actual league they show a few games when it’s the international weekend, and that was always Portsmouth and Luton - no idea who’ll they pick now

Well I’m in Chorlton so it’s not too far away, was always curious about their progress and watched the documentary about them on bbc.

Least you won’t have to play Hayes and yeading, lewes (who both averaged 250) or grays athletic (who mustered an amazing 8 fans to field mill)

Barnet won and have Chesterfield at home next week, Morecambe away to Coventry. Morecambe favourites to come down now I'd say. Lovely stuff.

I see Bradford scored a last minute winner today away at Kidderminster to sneak into the play offs were they will now travel back to Kidderminster for play offs? Footballs great sometimes. :brill:

Master D gets news of Grimsby’s injury time winner meaning GTFCfish will not be in the same section as him next season:

Referee playing on and on until Grimsby scored apparently. Nicely done.

Also denied Notts a blatant pen in the first half too, natural order preserved.

Havant and Waterloovile promoted after being crowned National League South champions?

Yep. Dartford missed out on goal difference. Concord came back from two down at Havant before the home side scored a last minute winner.

How are these playoffs working past the 4th-7th games? is it 2nd place get the lowest place winner?
In the South Dartford and Chelmsford (last season's playoff final loser) are 2nd and 3rd.

Playoffs are: Hampton & Richmond v Truro and Hemel Hempstead v Braintree.

Yeah we should've beat them even with our rotated side. But that's football sometimes. I'd be shocked if we lost to them on Wednesday with a full strength squad.
