We prefer the term ‘massive’.

(Also we did all warn you about McArdle)
Take him back, I beg you.

Would love to get rid of him but we gave him a fucking three year deal

Salford or Fylde it is then. Shame Eastleigh couldn’t see them off after leading the shoot out.

All Fylde now aren’t we?

If Salford do come up (please God don't let it happen,) surely they will be unable to comply with league financial rules?

It’ll just be an interest free loan or ridiculous sponsorship deal.

Noticed that Salford’s home attendance average was over 2500, which is a lot better than a few tin potters in this league.

Not hard to achieve if you’re giving away the tickets for next to nothing.

And to think our fans were pissed off because we didn’t try to keep him!

The ticket prices are subsidised by Peter Lim - Think its £10 to pay on the day there, it was when we went there. Even the programme which was quite big for Non League was only £2, they even pay for away coaches to away games and charge fans like £15 for a day trip to watch them in London for example.

Back in September, when they played Harrogate at home - It was 2nd v 3rd at the time and was a Tuesday night with Man United at home in the Champions League and only 1,300 turned up - 100 of which were Harrogate fans.

Once they start charging prices along the lines of £20 - It will be interesting to see who sticks around.

They could only manage 2,900 for Sundays playoff game - 360 were Eastleigh fans.

A good mate of mine has supported the Red Ammies as his 2nd team for years and he is distraught by what they have done to his friendly little club, and he's not alone. Money talks and money has changed SCFC for ever, and a lot of people think not in a good way too. He and a few others have turned their backs on the club now. They won't go if Lim pulled up in his roller and offered a lift and free entry.
Please don't forget genuine fans like these folks.

not the start in the non-league you would have wished for. I hope it all gets sorted for you guys. If you see our newly minted ex-owner down that way, don't let him anywhere near.

Cheers, I think administration would be better than Smurthwaite.

I'd guess that the majority of football club chairs are on the political right, though unwise of the local MP tempting fate by mentioning Fylde as currently anything Mrs May goes near turns to rat shit. Still would rather Fylde go up than Salford.

I would like to thank rudebwoyben, Harrier94 and Pliny Harris for their posts on the the tinpot thread about the joke that is AFC Fylde. Thank you guys.

I can only apologise in advance but now I want SALFORD to smash 'em. Go on you Reds :sb:

Yeah, I think it's the combination of Salford being my home city of sorts (and a proper place at that), their owners not being active on the extreme right, and the half-chance we'll be able to sign Devante Rodney off of them once they're promoted, that makes me "prefer" them to go up.

Wish some on here would spell Flyde's name properly though. Just doesn't look right any other way.

Confirmation that our takeover is officially off and our manager has left with immediate effect.

We have no-one left to carry out any contract negotiations apart from the odious Paul Terry. Administration awaits.

https://www.ytfc.net/news/2019/may/statement--club-comment-on-takeover-developments/

How come it collapsed? Anything to do with your relegation?

Our own preparations for non-league are unable to get underway in earnest until our ‘takeover’ Is completed. I fear a similar collapse in our negotiations with the mysterious South African consortium before Hardy announces the only bidder left in the room is Norman Smurthwaite. But property developer Alex May’s name keeps cropping up (not sure why when you wouldn’t be able to build on ML or sell it to developers), who Chesterfield fans may know something about?

We'll probably never know the exact reasons for the collapse, the official line is they couldn't agree terms so money-related but it's deeper than that. The new guy said all along it wasn't dependent on us staying in the league but who knows. There's so much more going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. Interestingly our now ex-manager Neale Marmon was on the local news last night and said "A lot of people couldn’t get rid of their egos and had their own agendas. Instead of working together they were working against each other".
