Great to feel the buzz back for our first home game. The club got caught out by demand and failed to open the upper tier of the trinity, so it's sold out today. I think it's going to be a very tough game today, but one we should win. 2.1 villa, 36.067(1437)

After the excellent opening day performance, today is sort of a free pass, expected to lose because Villa are the biggest side in the division and we're away, so the pressure is off.

Our starting 11 must be close to one of the youngest ever fielded at this level surely. Hopefully we can produce another similar performance to the opening day and who knows. Gibsons a blow as he was outstanding against Sheff Wed and his performance was Premier League class, hopefully it's only a minor knock. Interesting to see how young Connolly gets on in centre mid, was a right back in his first spell here.

Is the game being delayed because of the serious accident?

Feel sick after that. More than deserved a point but this league is unforgiving and we had our chance to win, Windass missed an absolute sitter from Evans’ cross at 1-2. Having a brand new defence really hurt us but they will get better the more they play together. Nick Powell was the best player on the pitch.

It’s going to be an exciting season if the last two games are to go by. If we go down, we’ll be going down swinging.

We've definitely got something about us this season, that we didn't have the last two times, we look a real threat going forward and will create chances against anyone. We need to start being more clinical and tighten up at the back.

All three goals conceded from crosses and all during periods of pressure from us which is frustrating. We're a lot better side then opponent fans are expecting before they play us.

Our young defence is our undoing at the moment, 3 brand new ones all just signed and thrown straight in, 22 year old keeper, 18 year old right back and 2, 21 year olds in defence, it will take time for them to gel. If we can get big Dan Burn back soon then hopefully that will help us aerially as set pieces and crosses/long balls are behind all 5 goals we've conceded this season and Burns a beast in the air.

I was impressed with Wigan, they have some good players. Very good going forward, but we looked very disjointed at the back, and it's easy to see why. Jedinak should never play at the back, but Bruce continues to use him there. We took a risk today with all the changes from last week, but we got lucky. Great game, not a great performance by us, but a massive win.

We don't look like we have a goal scorer in the team at the minute, but we've scored 6 goals.

To be fair, we gifted you two of them! Two of the five goals today were quality and the other three were calamitous errors.

Exactly!
We looked toothless going forward against hull but managed to score 3. Very fortunate today, I will admit. We are not convincing at the back, and don't seem to have a goal scorer in the team at the minute. Kodjia looks a shadow of his former self. I think we have a very good midfield though. Gutted we never got Powell.

Anyone would think we'd lost yesterday, that is if you look at our forums. Our fanbase is massively divided on Bruce. Ok the football is shit, and he makes some bizarre decisions, but we've made our best start in 20 years.

You’ll be in the top six at least, absolutely no doubt about it. I was secretly gutted you didn’t sack Bruce, I knew you’d slide down the league without him.

You do miss Terry though, Jedinak was shocking at CB, positionally all over the place and when you’re getting beaten to the ball by little Will Grigg then you have problems.

We are a weaker side than last season. Terry and snoddy were a big part of our team last season. We've still got enough quality to mount a challenge, but I think we will just fall short. God knows why he keeps trying jedinak at CB. The bloke is useless there and costs us goals time and time again. I'm glad we kept Bruce, purely for stability. The football is awful at times, but he will grind out results. We need a couple of defenders, and a striker. Cant see you having too much trouble staying up. I said before the season Wigan could be the surprise package.
