We go into this having not won in our previous three home games, admittedly this was against teams in form at the time. However Yeovil have already had the beating of us this season and I expect them to give us a tough game on a sticky pitch.
One goal either way at best, I will go 2-1 City only because we have to play better at home soon.

We will turn up with Darren Way claiming we're on a great run and the players are really positive. Then we will get beaten 4-3 after somehow being 3-1 in front with 3 minutes to go. Way will then say we've done really well and everything's fine.

Surely Yeovil will bring the 350 they're allocated?
Seen no sign of you guys having no tickets left so assuming you haven't got rid of them all yet?

We had 30 left as of noon today so they'll all go.

Lord knows what will happen here. We ‘should’ be good enough to win this but we’ve been very poor of late at home and we will be missing a couple of key players, with Moore-Taylor and Holmes both going off on Saturday.

I wish that Tisdale will give Stockley a strike partner. In fact, I’d be fine if he gave Robbie Simpson a start as he’s at least going to close down and hassle which could give Stockley more space.

Yeovil aren’t to be taken lightly though. They beat us fair and square at Huish Park and they have some threats with Zoko and Khan.

I think we will sneak it 2-1. Taylor and Sweeney from the spot. Zoko for Yeovil.

Apart from Stockley who else looks like scoring regularly?

The issue is we will play 4-5-1 and there won't be a player within 40 yards of Stockley for 85 minutes of the game. Sitting deep and hanging on to a 0-0 scoreline in the hope that your one striker can get a lucky break from a defensive error or something is not realistically going to get you promoted.

Either need a number 10 type of strike partner to link the play up or a few decent attacking midfielders/wingers capable of getting into dangerous positions to put balls into the box. Hoofing it 70 yards isn't going to get us anywhere.

Agree with pretty much all of that. We have no link between Stockley and the midfield which results in us playing a really dour long ball tactic for large periods of the game. We lost a lot of the pace we had in the last season with Stacey, Wheeler and Watkins all moving on and we no longer have the players who will drive us up the pitch.

For me, we need to see McAlinden or Matt Jay come to provide support for Jayden, staying close to him, feeding off his knock downs and just giving the opposition defenders another body to deal with. However, Tis seems reluctant to want to persevere with this.

It's why, even with the games in hand over those around us, I'm still looking down at the teams who could catch us rather than genuinely believing we can have a go at the top 3.

With my serious hat on (I do have one, it's very dapper) I would expect Exeter to win this game very easily. We have no fight, no direction and no leadership and will capitulate when you score your first goal. We always concede in the last minute as well. 3-0 at a canter.

Very important game for us, need to steady the ship after some so-so performances of late. Like others have said, we really need someone up there with Stockley, and hopefully that will happen tonight. Don't mind if it's Jay, McAllinden, Loft, Simpson or whoever, but definitely needed. If Holmes is a doubt hopefully we play Edwards as width needed. Yeovil may be off form but after some of our recent performances there is no way this is a given for us

Believe me it really is.

Amazing. The sort of game you'd win nine times out of ten. The miss from Stockley shocked the whole ground. Incredibly unlucky there.

We looked better with two up top and had the better chances but I don't really think we did enough to come away angry we didn't win that.

First 5-10 minutes we looked really good with Matt Jay buzzing around Stockley but we couldn't maintain it. Yeovil forced Pym to make a couple good saves in the second half and Stockley missed a real sitter in the last few minutes.

I hope we persevere with the Stockley/Jay partnership as despite not scoring I thought we actually looked somewhat threatening. The latter really impressed and always will give you nothing short of 100% so I think he deserves a real run in the side.

Happy with a point, and a vast improvement on the Stevenage game. We looked a lot more solid in defence with Nelson and Donnellan making pretty solid debuts, but we are really lacking in confidence going forward especially our wingers. Exeter played some nice stuff and certainly weren't as direct as I was expecting given the some of the comments before the game, and I'm still struggling to understand how Stockley missed the chance at the end.
