i would say a trip to wales for a week , pretty much raining the entire time and there wasnt much in the town either.

Me and the future wife, to Tenerife, in a cheap, shitty cockroach infested apartment where neither of us could sleep because of the heat.

Air Con has been a deal breaker ever since.

I went to Benidorm one year and have never been to such a chav ridden dump in my life. It was like Manhattan with a beach for a start. Full of tattooed, foul mouthed, fat, beer bellied idiots, tanked up looking for fights, and that`s just some of the women. Loads of so called British bars where none of the staff could speak a word of English, except of course when they were trying to get into the knickers of some 18 year old giggling, bottle blonde, orange skinned slapper, serving totally inedible so-called food swimming in a sea of grease and watery beer in plastic glasses and playing "music" that can only be described as a noise akin to somebody scraping their fingernails down a blackboard. Our hotel was full of families who let their kids behave like savages whilst their parents too busy either turning lobster coloured around the pool or getting pissed out of their heads to care about what their near feral offspring are up to. Because we were basically the only young, single guys in the place if anything was vandalised we got the bIame for it when it was really some spoilt little brat from some God foresaken estate in Basingstoke or somewhere equally ghastly. And good luck to anybody who complains to their parents about their little darlings behavior especially if you find the words "f**k off" offensive. I would rather stick red hot needles in my eyes then go there again. Just why it is so popular is beyond me.

Loads of so called Birkenhead bars where none of the staff could speak a word of English more like a fucking shit scouse accent, except of course when they were trying to get into the knickers of some 46 year old giggling, big bellied blonde fresh out the dole office, orange skinned slapper, serving totally inedible so-called food swimming in a sea of grease and watery beer in plastic glasses and playing "music" that can only be described as a noise akin to somebody scraping their fingernails down a blackboard. Our council flat was full of families who let their kids behave like savages whilst their parents too busy either turning lobster coloured around the paddling pool Big Dave bought from Argos or getting pissed out of their heads to care about what their near feral offspring are up to. Because we were basically the only young, employed guys in the place if anything was vandalised we got the bIame for it when it was really some shit stained little brat from some God foresaken estate in Birkenhead or somewhere equally ghastly like Stoke. Not exactly a full holiday, but a day trip to Tijuana from San Diego, (which is where we spent several days on our way down from Los Angeles) even just one day spent in that crummy, dirty little town just south of the border is, in my opinion, something to be avoided at all costs.
