Rather than the media stories of transfers, as reported avidly in the Transfers, who should stay and who should go? Who would you credibly sign from one of this season's Championship sides? (It's unrealistic to consider Neves or Sessegnon, probably)

For Wolves, no matter the stand-out performances recently, I'm hoping we will get a different goalkeeper for the PL. I'd want to steal that young Leeds keeper. Forgotten his name, but the bastard stopped us winning 25-0. I can see Ruddy going back to Norwich.

At the back, we should still be solid, but I think Batth and Iorfa should move on. They are both great Championship players. Millwall could take them if they fail to beat Fulham in the play-off final. Would sign Harding from Brum.

I have loved Douglas this season, but his limitations have become more obvious recently. His set pieces are superb, especially the corners, and I think he will go to a PL club but we don't seem to be able to attack as effectively down the left.

Miranda will go to a club that like a bit of Latin flair without being overly bothered that he isn't much good: Leeds or Wednesday the obvious candidates.

I can't see Roman Saiss hacking it in the PL, but again he's great at this level. Similar with N'Diaye. Reckon both will leave for France rather than stay in England.
Would hope Neves and Doherty would stay.

Up front, it has to be goodbye to Benik Afobe and Bonatini. Both great guys, hard-working but not good enough for the PL. I'd look at Traore and Bamford from Boro.
Probably also adieu to Enobakhare and I'm not sure, yet, that Cav and Costa will be up to the PL quality, but time will tell.

All this is assuming Jos Luhukay will revert back to his preferred 4-2-3-1/4-4-1-1 which he has success with over in Germany...

Out of contract-

Glenn Loovens (Release) Great player for us over the last 5 or so years but his legs have gone and he's shot to shit.

Daniel Pudil (Release) Done well this season as a left side centre half in a 5 at the back but he's getting on, wages won't be cheap and we have youngsters like Thorniley coming through, plus he can't play CB in a 4 at the back

Ross Wallace (Release) Same as Loovens, not up to this level anymore.

Atdhe Nuhiu- (1 Year) Good squad player, won't be on anywhere near as much as some of the others and is reliable, compare him to Fletcher for example and it's a no brainier.

George Hirst (Tribunal) He's going to sign for a Premier League club no chance he's staying, hopefully we'll get a decent fee for him.

Sean Clare (Tribunal) Been offered a contract but reports are he isn't going to accept it as he wants to go back down south, and probably has Premier League interest. Shame but that's football.

Frederico Venancio- (Loan ends) If the money's right would re sign him, solid first season in English football after being thrown in at the deep end, good and captain at his parent club.

Jacob Butterfield (Loan ends) Goodbye, was never what we needed in the first place, bizarre signing.

Would like to see us move some of the big earners who don't provide us with much off the books like Fletcher, Abdi and Jones but getting them out won't be easy, we're going to have to be shrewd this summer with our business and that might see a few star players moved on if the money's right.

Players I'd like to see us look at are Ben Marshall, Jackson Irvine, Ben Pearson, Greg Cunningham, the last two are never going to happen though. I expect we'll do a lot of business in the German and Dutch market.

Boyle, Vermijl, Doyle, Pringle & O'Connor. All dogshit, get rid by any means necessary.

Welsh is too old for this level now, love the guy but release.

Gallagher deserves another year but we're only offering 'pay as you play' supposedly. Hope we work something out.

Spurr is very, very injury prone but has a year left. He's good when he plays at centre back but ideally we would move him on and replace him. Think he's played 5 times this season.

Horgan, can't see him ever forcing himself into the first eleven, stay or go, i'm not assed.

Woods, seems to have deteriorated but is under contract, Grayson may come sniffing if he stays at Bradford.

If Rangers are still interested in Moult (as rumoured) then i'd sort out a deal, although wouldn't have a problem with him staying and fighting for his place. Strikers can take time to settle but he looks like someone who can only excel in a front two to me.

Out of contract: Golbourne, O'Neil, Garita, Steele. The lot of them are fucking horrendous, will be fuming if any of them are offered any sort of role here.

Loans expiring: Woodrow, Kent, Diony. Again, three toilet footballers and not one of them will sign on either on loan or permanently if we've any sense. Diony's certainly burnt his bridges here anyway.

Players that (imo) aren't up to it:

Frank Fielding - It's remarkable we've had to put up with five years of this shithouse since Heaton departed. We'll never get anywhere with this clogger in net, get rid.

Gustav Engvall - Waste of £2m. Recoup whatever possible.

Taylor Moore - Not progressing as expected, waste of £1.5m.

Jens Hegeler - As classy as anything you'll find at this level but not up to the pace, will probably get a decent club in the Bundesliga.

Liam Walsh - Needs a loan, not played enough football yet to be getting a look in here.

Players I'd realistically be looking at.... McGeady maybe. Henderson or Lumley from L1, two good keepers, United would probably send us Henderson for a year. Jackson Irvine would be a quality addition here, hasn't worked out at Hull but would fit our system. Barnes hasn't had much of a look in at Leicester either since getting recalled from Barnsley so that could be one to explore.

We have Vyner to come back from Plymouth which I'm quite excited about. Getting rave reviews down there, I think Flint will be poached and Vyner will step in.

Batth and Iorfa would have been ideal signings last Summer, but I couldn't see any of them dislodging Meredith, Romeo, Cooper or Hutchinson now. Couldn't afford to sign any of them to sit on the bench either.

Think we are gonna be in a good position in the summer when we sell Flint/Bryan/Reid for £30m and have ready made replacements in Vyner/Kelly for the first two.

All out of contract and loan returns to fuck off.

We should build the team around Hegeler and accept mistakes whilst he gets used to it.

Off the top of my head we've got; Bent, Shackell, Baird and Roos all out of contract so that free's some wonga up straight away.

Looks like Bryson, Martin, Blackman, Butterfield and Anya are surplus to requirements and will hopefully be sold. Potentially Johnson, Pearce and Weimann too if we get decent offers.

Winnall and Palmer to return to their clubs after their loans end, I reckon we'll bid for the former as he's hanging around the club instead of going back to Wednesday for treatment on his knee.

Vydra will probably get 20 for the season, maybe clinch the top goalscorer accolade too. If we get a decent bid for him I'd be tempted to sell and use the funds to improve the squad as a whole.

Think it'll be a quiet summer for us, more outs than ins.

GK: Archer's fine. Young and still improving. Makes the odd howler, but the defence clearly trust him and 17 clean sheets ain't to be sniffed at.

Defence is not an issue for us. Undoubtedly our strongest area, and there's been no whispers about Summer bids for any of Cooper, Romeo, Meredith or Hutchinson (fingers crossed). We have Webster to come back and McLaughlin as able back up to Romeo. Might be worth taking a punt on a young lower league player to bring along if we lose any of the above, but otherwise we're well stocked there.

Midfield: If anyone (good) leaves this Summer, it's likely to be Wallace or Saville. Williams is signed on for another season. Tunnifcliffe hasn't done anything wrong, but can't seem to get a look-in since we went on our run. Jimmy Abdou will have his testimonial in the Summer, then depart. Shane Ferguson just isn't up to this level and can't even make the squad anymore. No-one knows Aiden O'Brien's best position, but if Marshall doesn't sign he will be back in on the left for the start of next season, which is fine by me. If Wallace or Saville go, then we will obviously need to seriously reinvest in the squad. If they stay, then we could still do with another option in midfield, especially if Marshall goes elsewhere.

Strikers: Need someone to replace Morison long-term (maybe Matt Smith?). If Cardiff go up, might be worth going in for Gary Madine; I'm not his biggest fan, but he would be a good fit for our system. Elliot is a fine option to have off the bench, cheap too, so no sense in getting rid. Gregory has the option of a further year, but news on a new contract has not been forthcoming. If he goes, it will probs be to Derby or Sheffield United. Losing either (to another club, age, injury, or otherwise) would be a blow, but might also be the shake-up we need. Both are integral to our success this season, but they also don't score many. As they get older that will become a problem. Could probably do with another forward then yeah.

So, given the money and influence we have at our disposal:

1x forward (Madine on loan, maybe that Hugill on loan, or a sneaky bid for McBurnie in the Summer?)
1x cheap young-ish defender
1x wide midfielder (Ideally Marshall, but poss Pilkington from Cardiff or someone in that mould)

Not sure I'd want to ship out as many as Herts, a mainly for continuity. The first time would be more effective with 2 or 3 additions rather than 7 or 8.

Most pressing upgrades for me

GK
Striker
CB for Bennett spot
LWB

Happy to keep Saiss, not sure on N'Daiye fee to be made permanent but feel like Morgan Gibbs White will continue to play more next year and so might be better as the rotating CM there.

Curious to why you would want Wes Harding fr Birmingham Herts. I had never heard of him before Saturday, and whilst he did ok he didn't come across as somome I think we should sign. Maybe you know something about him I dont.

For us I'd transfer list Batth, Marshall, Iorfa, Ebanks-Landell and Miranda. Would sell Saiss, Enobakhare and Ruddy if the price is right for them.

I'd 100% take Marshall, the crosses in the box are what our strikers are dying for, probably Saiss too. Wouldn't mind Batth back but he's too similar to Lees and not as good, we need a left sider really.
