Palace have enrolled the impostor that is Roy Hodgson (how hard is it to beat Iceland, seriously?) and are still without a point after 7 games. Will they beat Derby County's sad little record which is to record the lowest points tally ever in the English top division in a 20-side season?

For what it's worth, Derby already had 4 points after 7 games this time 10 years ago. Will they stay on top come May?

And converse (and make fun of Rammy).

If they get a good manager they might not go down. They'll definitely get above 11.

No - they will get at least 4 points off us for starters as usual!

And Newcastle, and 3 points vs Liverpool.

Do they always beat Newcastle?

That is the game after Chelsea...

I think we've only beaten them about once or twice in this decade (and more!)

Guys I've crunched the numbers and Palace are on course for zero points this year. I think that ends the discussion as zero is below eleven unless anyone needs to check my working.

Back on TFF, I started a thread about Liverpool winning 10 games in row which they did. It's called having a big mouth. You win some you lose some.

And I didn't predict anything. But you know that.

What is the least number of goals scored in the top flight, and I do mean before football was 'invented' in 1992

Don't ask Epic.

Stoke scored 24 goals in 84/85 but that was with 42 games. 38 games is Derby with 20 goals.

Croatia and Ukraine found out that it's pretty hard. :)):

Derby to beat then on goals per game ratio. The way we are going it will be a struggle to score 20 in 46 games!!!

Quite true - a very organised team who clearly can defend very well and take their chances.

I think the real shock was the performance England put in against Iceland last year but they probably all had the same mind set as Joe Hart (just had to turn up and win)
