Port Vale 3-0 Bournemouth in Division 2 (current League 1) back in 1993.
Can't remember anything about the game other than the result and the fact it was an easy victory for the Valiants. Not sure what happened to Bournemouth after this, never heard of them since

Of course :D

They never recovered from the hammering of the mighty Valiants. I heard they left the green fields of the Football League and are now playing in one of these obscure Money Leagues.

My first game on place was malmö away in the cup, year 2000. The home side were the underdogs at the time, coming from the second division while HIF were top class in Allsvenskan. Also we had recently qualified for CL by beating Inter and the majority of the crowd was from Helsingborg. It was however unquestionable among HIF fans that mff were the most hated club regardless of how much bigger we were, which I quickly had to learn once I made the step towards the more active fans. Other teams which were that small were usually just laughed at but malmö were always hated, even at times where we were much better both on and off the pitch.
However, those were the terrace attitudes. Players would usually not feel the same unquestionable hate and the timing for this derby game, which happened to be my first game live, came with an inconvinient timing. Most of our stars who had beaten Inter were given an early holiday after their efforts and the Swedish cup wasn't taken quite as serious. Basically malmö weren't Inter and it didn't matter to the club board how much the supporters hated them.. so we ended up losing 1-0, mainly with reserves. The main exception being Ronald Nilsson who made his last game in HIF (he also played some for Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry among others). At least he had a good game.

What really impressed me at the time was the atmosphere at the stadium. All the smells and the sounds of every kick. Also how the crowd would roar when HIF were on the attack. Not so much singing though. I got more into that later. It was very noticeable at once how media in malmö got behind their team in a different way than Helsingborg's media. They were practically like a replacement for fans and they would hang around the stadium handing out free papers to anyone, officially about the game, but only containing news about mff - who nobody was interested in at the time.
Another memory was how packed the motorway was back to Helsingborg after the game. Cars everywhere waving red and blue scarfs and the initial stocking before we got out of malmö took some time. It became very clear to me then just how large part of the crowd had come by car from Helsingborg.

That I remember, Barnsley at home in 1985, we won 1-0 or 2-0 I think.
