Based on the fact that he was abused by one of your "volunteers" who incidentally also made no effort to stop a 25 ft abusive banner into the ground, how can you properly police a football match with volunteers who have such a vested interest in your own club, it's unprofessional if nothing else and as Saturday has shown, how totally unprepared you are for when we come to visit (but that will be our fault because of who we support, won't it) ?

As for the volunteer, i see you're already happy to band about "free the pitchfork one" Hilarious hey ? You're always the victim, never to blame- even Eric's statement was worded as though it was KR's fault for being KR !!

Well do us a favour and don't bother turning up!! The best thing that could happen is for the police to make the game for Wimbledon supporters only.Your not wanted at our place.

Genuinely LOL , firstly the Police aren't going to do that, it's your responsibility to make sure that all visiting fans are safe, are you going to be able to do that ? Do you want to do that ? I'll be coming along (No doubt kettled in and out) to support my team, end of. If you're not able to control yourselves ....... then that says far more about you and your friends than it does about us as a group of people.

The stewards who failed to stop the banner getting in were working for a stewarding company who no doubt will be/have been contacted by the club regarding the failure. Very few stewards are volunteers but those of us who are have undergone crowd safety training and we pride ourselves in being professional when on duty. If Winkleman chooses to attend next month, I will treat him with courtesy as I do everyone. In fact, I'll be icily polite through gritted teeth. Oh, and another issue was the coin throwing by Charlton supporters at the linesman. Nothing could be done about that other than getting everyone to empty out their loose change on arrival. Good for our meagre budget, I guess.

The volunteer who abused Robinson shouldn't have done so, although rumours abound that he said a variation of what was on the banner. If that is the case, Robinson shouldn't have tried to go for him. As it is, the club will deal with said volunteer.

We will be prepared. Nothing confirmed yet, but don't be surprised if you have to travel by coach and not arrive independently. My guess is that the bars won't be open and our supporters will be held back until your supporters coach has gone. I'd imagine also that our supporters will be cleared from the vicinity before your team coach is ready to leave.

As for me? I hate your club, Winkleman, Koppell and the three man commission. I agree with the sentiments on the banner but think it was wrong to show it. As you've been poking around our guestbook, you'll see from my profile that I'm at odds with many of our supporters. Many of our supporters wish death to all Frannnies - I don't, I hate violence although I'm never going to be bosom buddies with anyone who supports your abomination of a football club.

The t-shirt? A bit of fun and I just drew attention to it, I made no comment. I found it humourous without agreeing with the actions of the guy concerned.

Well said Meadow- and thanks for the reasoned response, fully expecting for us to be kettled in and out- it's the only way it can happen and once we're in the ground, we'll have our own share of idiots too i'm sure. Fingers crossed it all passes off peacefully, we all (whatever our club) go for the same reasons, to enjoy the day out and support our team- that should be at the forefront of everyones thinking.
