We're bidding to make 3 home wins on the bounce. Our problem though has been consistency, a good performance and win like vs Notts on Tuesday is usually followed by an abject performance.

Accrington look a solid side once more, punching above their weight again and will be a tough game for anyone this season. Hopefully the late defeat vs Stevenage will have knocked their confidence a bit.

Crewe 2-2 Accrington (Porter, Cooper, Kee, Jackson) 3,644 (160 Stanley)

After Tuesday's win, a point is more than fine here, especially given what is likely to be a strong response from Accy and a weaker performance from us. A win would be fantastic though, certainly showed we are capable of it against Notts County. Just don't lose, need to get some sort of unbeaten run going.

Genuinely think Accrington will come here, try to play football and will therefore be susceptible to be counter attacked at will. Just the sort of team that, on paper, we like playing at Gresty Road.

Confident we'll win this one. Home performances seem to have improved dramatically after the Carlisle debacle and these players are putting in a shift. Lowery might be a huge miss in midfield but it's time for Brad Walker to come in and cement his place in the starting XI. Hopefully Jordan Bowery can keep up his recent run of good performances and really take his game to another level as well, very impressed with how he's staked a claim to be in the side after being on the bench for the start oft he season.

Crewe 2-0 Accrington (Bowery, Cooper)

Jackson may be missing for us, and Coleman vowed to make changes after disappointing loss on Tuesday. Will be interesting to see what he comes up with. Crewe - underestimate us at your peril - some games we are managing 25+ shots, one day we are going to give someone a thrashing. Maybe not tomorrow :p

Looking at the strengths & weaknesses in the Alex team the back line full of experienced defenders in with the likes of Rayne’s, Nolan. Bakayogo.the midfield is heavy with young home grown player’s front men Dagnall looks to have revitalised his form, porter is always a danger, a super result against county on Tuesday, leaves me looking at 1-1 result

Sigh. Win one, lose one. Can't get any sort of consistency together at all. Can't string 2 performances together, can't even get results when we play poorly.

Raynes decided to have his '1 shocker in 5' game today, brainless penalty to give away, lucky to even stay on the pitch. Got his marching orders late on deservedly. Just another game where we concede first and don't look like getting anything from it. Front line run around but create very little, especially in the 2nd half. That 2nd period, you could have forgotten it happened because nothing did happen, bar Raynes' red of course.

We just don't seem to be making any sort of progress under Artell. Board backed him in the summer, he got the players he wanted, yet we are 1 place better off than we were when he took over. Defence and midfield is pretty much brand new, most have got experience and we've seen they've got the quality when they are on it. So frustrating, just not sure if Artell is developing these players and making them better.

As for Accy, took their chances/gifts early on and let us swat away at them for the rest of the game. Another easy win for an opposition side. Will we ever go 2 unbeaten again?

A good opening 30 minutes for us won this one. Could have been a different result if Crewe had taken th two '1 on 1' chances, and our keeper hadn't made a decent save at the end. Crewe not the worst team we have played so far
