Which toe are you after?

Forget it we don't want him anymore, I hear that Drewe Broughton is coming out of retirement so we're after him instead.

TO WIN THIS LEAGUE, TO MAKE THE PLAY OFFS, TEAMS HAVE TO DOG IT OUT AND GO ROUTE FUCKING ONE BECAUSE YOU WIN FUCK ALL IN THIS LEAGUE FOR PASSING THE BALL.

Errr you also need to win games, something we seem incapable of doing this year.

We're not even fucking "dogging it out" at the moment because we can't get ourselves out of this dismal run

Akinde seems to miss an absolute sitter every time he plays us. Still, today's wasn't as bad as the one from last season when he was clean through on our goal - or was it the season before? He'd walk into any team in L2, even if he is generally shit at football.

All you ever do is fucking moan as soon as we stop winning, but you take it way over the top. Teams go on bad runs every once in a while you know, it happens.

Just be patient and back the club.

Today was a disaster.

A demoralising third consecutive draw against a minnow with ten men, losing another two players through injury, and another playing his last game for the club.

What are we down to now, 17 pro's or summat? The freeloaders in charge of the club need hounded out of the club. That's two promotions they've purposely thrown since they've been in charge with their pulling back of funds at critical times.

It's OK, Akinde wasn't interested in Carlisle either.

Well said Partridge, yes it is disappointing to get beat off minnows like Barnet and as for the board well nothing is going to change unless the fans get worked up and drive them out like we did to Michael Knighton back in the day.

I was quite surprised to see Barnet equalise when they were down to 10 men, and even more surprised to see that Akinde didn't win the penalty!

The penalty looked harsh although I haven't seen it again so maybe I'm wrong.

Also thought the red was harsh, yellow card at most

I agree with that, looked a bit soft but the red card was harsh too I thought, maybe a case of the referee trying to even things up. I thought he had a poor game the ref.

I've seen the highlights and just look at the crowd, you can see so many gaps in the stand and there's no atmosphere it's almost like a morgue. Just shows how much ANDREW JENKINS is killing this club by being a stubborn old mute git. How old is he now 80 something?

Turn the clock back to May 2015, Andrew Lapping and other local business people were going to take over the club and run it properly, giving the fans hope for the future of the club and even excitement. Everything is in place, but then suddenly BREAKING NEWS a new investor is looking to buy the club and apparently the mystery investor is a billionaire but they can't reveal the persons name because of a confidentiality clause. So the Lapping deal is off and they make some bullshit up about him being a dubious businessman. Oh well that is disgusting of the club to make that shit up, but at least we'll still get a billionaire owner instead now so we can maybe splash the cash and do a Bournemouth. Nearly 2 years later and WE'RE STILL IN THE FUCKING DARK ABOUT THIS INVESTOR. OH MY WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL THESE IDIOTS TO JUST FUCK OFF AND LEAVE OUR CLUB BECAUSE NO ONE LIKES THEM.

If we'd been taken over by Lapping then who knows how well we'd of been doing by now on and off the pitch.

Maybe practice what you preach and there would not be so many gaps in the stand.

What are you getting involved for? This has nothing to do with Grimsby.

Well in that case then I guess you will never again comment on any post that is not Carlisle United related?

I didn't know you are only allowed to comment on posts concerning your own team, what a naughty boy I am. :ffs:

I was really disappointed on the train back yesterday.

For the second year in a row, we have gone to Brunton Park, dominated and not come away with three points.

The first 20 minutes of the game was all us. Johnson, who was top draw all game, hit the post. Akinde had a one on one saved. Ryce had the beating of their full back all game and he put in a couple of quality crosses. We just never had anyone on the end of them.

Then, Carlisle moved forward and their player got the wrond side of Santos. Santos fell over and then hit the ball with his hand. I called it at the time that we would concede. We can't defend set pieces. Poor defending and Carlisle go 1 up. We went back on top and Akinde went through once again. His effort was brilliantly saved by the goalie. A couple more chances and we go in at half time 1 nil down.

Akinola was brilliant all game and I thought the red was very harsh. The ref reacted to the players and the crowd. With ten men I feared for the worst. We battled and got a penalty. Defender cut across Johnson and fouled him. I thought the penalty was fair. Vickers then makes two brilliant saves in the second half. We had two brilliant chances. Akpa Akpro had the chance to drill it across the box, instead he back passed it into the goalies hands. Then, Akinde has somehow managed to clip the ball over the bar from around six yards out.

Proud of the spirit shown by the players, but gutted not to get three points. Carlisle will fall away if they play like that every week. You looked a shadow of the team that tore us apart at the Hive.

It was no where near as one sided as last seasons game.

We had plenty of chances ourselves yesterday despite being second best.

Not denying that.
Last season you took all of your chances. This season you only took one. We had the much better clear cut chances.

Just watched the highlights, could really have finished 4-4. Barnet probably edged it, but I still think that is a soft penalty. Kennedy's miss was poor, but Akinde should've buried his.
