Anyone any idea at all how this will go? Not me! Guess 2-1 Stags (if we can tighten up at the back).

Think Cheltenham could be alright this season - gary Johnson appears to have set his sights highly (which is admirable as the rest of the division would think that on that basis) but does appear to have an alright squad this term.

Mansfield were their first away game when they first came up from the conference, and they've got us again - that day they won - will history repeat itself?

If we could get 4 points from the next 2 home games that would be a grand start

Hope we can play like we did against Charlton and second half v Orient - if we do, we've a good chance of getting a result here.

Think we'll win comfortably here, Think Johnson will need another season to build a squad of a good standard at L2. 2-0 Mansfield.

I think if we play like we have been we can definitely get something from the game if not all three points

Hope we are a little better at defending set pieces this weekend. 2-0 or 2-1 I think. Too early for Big D to show his face you lucky Chelts.

Cheltenham fans are confident they'll get promoted this year and i don't get why after watching them a few times last season whilst seeing a lot of league two games as well. I think they're good but not that good.

If we tighten up at the back, and cut out silly mistakes from set peices, create enough chances for green and rose, we'll score a few and win. First clean sheet hopefully.. 2-0

There's a good reason for them to be confident, came back up from that shithole on the first go as champions (thankfully holding off that awful forest green in the process). Sides that come up can have a good start - we flew the the first season up until we nosedived after winning 1-0 at Chesterfield

They are an unknown as we don't know much about them, so how tomorrow pans out will be a bit of a mystery, However, we're comfortably better than any side down in the conference

Yep, total respect for any side that bounces straight back in one go from Purgatory, although from the fair chunk which I saw on BT last season the quality looks a little down on the past few years in that division. However, you can only beat what is in front of you and Cheltenham won that division at an absolute canter, which isn't easy to do, so I doff my cap to them.

As for a prediction, I don't know a great deal about chelts or many of our new look side yet so I'll go for a P-P.

I will always take a draw away from home, easy to forget after 1 and half brilliant performances that we only have 14 first-teamers at the moment.

No reason we can't win, but a battling draw will be more than satisfactory.

Probably a fair result in the end. Cheltenham edged the first half I think. However, after we scored early second half we looked reasonably comfortable and had chances to make it 2-0 until the wonder equaliser - quality goal that. Both teams had chance to win after that as well. I think Cheltenham looked decent and should do reasonably well first season back.

Didn't think Cheltenham were up to much and were lucky. A pot shot saved them a point really, good finish but we were on top for most of the game. Didn't take our chances as we should have had atleast 3 imo.

I thought we just edged that purely down to the fact we had better chances overall, Green should of bagged at least one but his assist for our goal was superb. Cheltenham goal was unstoppable and a real peach, and other than that they did not threaten with any proper chances excluding one that required a good save in the first half.

Pretty poor performance actually, but we will get better and 4 out of 6 is more than acceptable.

A point was a very fair result.

As others have said, Cheltenham edged the first half, we dominated the first 25 minutes or so of the 2nd half when we could and really should have put the game to bed.

Murray then did what Murray does best and went negative and defensive by taking rose off and going defensive - it didn't work at all last season and unsurprisingly it didn't happen again today.

Cheltenhams goal was a world class effort and the game was even after the goal.

Mansfield I'd give them 5/10. Cheltenham were limited but broke well - I can only assume they also can play much better.

4 from 6 is a good start, Murray HAS to be more attacking at home - it was a disaster last season with the home fans regularly bored to tears - fans will rightfully start to get ratty and impatient if his questionable home record continues. Let's hope that we take a positive path and play how I think we can.

He's obviously attempting possession football which is clearly a work in progress especially at this level - I buy into it, but he won't help himself if he's goes all defensive

Imo their goal should of been an easy save, Keeper didn't jump and let it go over him and through his hands... he did that with long shots last year like Exeter's goal away.

Scrappy game against a direct side. I don't think we went negative at all, Rose had to come off apparently and with henderson not ready what else do you do? Put on an attacking player like Hemmings and thats what we did..

We played good football but didn't penetrate enough but did create chances, and when we get chances we need to stay composed. Alright to get a point but if we were at our best it would of been a comfortable win. One or two of our new lot impressed and overall we look better than last year, Lots more to come from us which is pleasing.

Cheltenham won't challenge like they think they will, far far better teams in this league than them. With players like jennings and morgan-smith in your side and the way you play, you're heading for mid table at best.

It's a bit difficult to judge where we're going to end up when we have 5 first-team players, 3 of whom are guaranteed starters, out injured at the moment. I'm not for a second suggesting we're going up or that we'll storm the league, but I do find it baffling how people like to make predictions based on 90 minutes.

As for yesterday, the reports I'm getting, and from what I heard on the radio, it sounded like two poor teams. We appeared to edge the first half, then didn't turn up for the second half. As I said though, a point away from home is always more than acceptable.
