After a dreadful run of form much is being made on the Posh forums about how it would be typical Posh to go and win on Saturday.

Cannot see it myself...Shrewsbury are well very organised and will come away with an easy win 0-2 win.

Is it three seasons in a row now that you've started quick out the gate, beat sides by four or five on a few occasions, but then inexplicably started to lose every other game? What's going on there?

I expect nothing but an easy 4-1 win to the Shrews. Peterborough are a very poor team who had a lucky start to the season and have been found out. The loss of last season's top scorer Tom "Lionel" Nichols will really start to haunt them now as the goals for Marriott dry up.

I expect nothing but an easy 4-1 win to the Shrews. Peterborough are a very poor team who had a lucky start to the season and have been found out. The loss of last season's top scorer Tom "Lionel" Nichols will really start to haunt them now as the goals for Marriott dry up.

I expect a defeat but not as heavily (although with our defence anything is possible). I also want Lionel Nichols back.

Junior Brown is unfortunately ruled out for the season after his injury last week against Fleetwood. Omar Beckles is most likely to take Brown’s place but it could be Joe Riley yet.

No two seasons..3 seasons back we started off well and did not do too bad getting into the play-offs.

It normally goes pear shaped after christmas. This season it's gone wrong even earlier and I fully blame the manager.

Only listened on Radio Salop but seems we were worth a point. Have seen the goal and its a 1 in 100 strike. Worryingly despite our 2nd half possession, we seemed to lack the final ball and it was commented that neither keeper really had a lot to do.
The monkey is now off our back and we have 2 cup games to bounce back before tough league fixtures against teams around us to see out November.

We were probably worthy of a point but it wasnt to be - no lack of effort on our part though and it was back to the walls stiff for the last 10-15 mins but posh defended heroically.

It was a goal worthy of winning any game but once in front it’s a shame the ref didn’t get the time wasting / theatrical diving under control from the posh players who were trying to get our players sent off.

Very proud of the effort our lads put in and they got a standing ovation off the Salop fans, despite the defeat. The first loss was always around the corner but let’s hope we can get back to winning ways soon.

Yeah a draw would have been a better reflection of the overall game...and having now seen the Shrewsbury team I am sure they will be in the play-offs as they are a big, athletic, hard working. organised team who will continue to trouble many teams...they were just very unlucky to be undone by a moment of absolute inspiration from Maddison.

They do not have the quality for the top two though.
