Any albums you guys could suggest that I could play ultra loud and piss off early-bedding neighbours?

Anything hip-hoppy with a monotonous beat. They annoy me the most.

Either that or Gene Pitney.

My uni neighbour used to annoy me with Bridge over Troubled Waters or endless Leonard Cohen. My usual response was Trout Mask Replica or a spot of Amon Düül.

For long term irritation with a bit of class, I would probably now go for

Or, Robert Miles "Children" on endless loop, which did for me in Kos in 1996

Ha I wondered when Slipknot would be posted. I used to download albums of them and Rammstein to burn for a mate, and listened to a bit of all the tracks to make sure they were working, and it was fucking awful!

After 23 years of jazz listening, it's only the past couple of years I've started to go "out". My wife asks me how I can listen to it, to which I reply that one just needs to listen to something different from time to time. I can fully appreciate why people can't stand it though.

I'd forgotten about "Machine Gun" - good shout

I like artists who explore different approaches to music - musical experimentation in other words - but I have no time for those that are only on a noise making exercise, something which I think is becoming all too frequent nowadays. For instance, while my grindcore days are way behind me, I'd rather listen to Death Toll 80K than Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music, because some thought has actually gone in the making of the former, while the latter is just unplanned noise.
