Our youth team makes the trip to Somerset, where they'll be expected to pull off more tricks like picking up points.

The last 14 years I believe we've played Yeovil in EVERY season, since they came into the football league in either league or cup. I've only ever missed two of these fixtures home and away league and cup. Saturday will be my 11th visit.

Saturday will probably be my last visit to Huish Park. I won't miss the grief getting to and from the station though!

I actually think we'll get a point here. 0-0. Three shots in the game between both sides in the most boring game of football ever seen in the Football League.

I will be making my first trip to Yeovil, I usually give this one a miss but as our league status is in genuine danger, I thought I may as well strike a few grounds off my list before making the plunge into the depths of non-league football.

Can't say I'm looking forward to it in the slightest; looks like it will be freezing cold (with a good chance of postponement), I've heard it's quite the mission from the station to the ground, and we will definitely lose, playing the kids again.

On the plus side, the Yeovil fans always seem a friendly bunch and hopefully I'll be able to scrounge some real Somerset cider.

It's strange though. I almost find myself wanting us to lose. I'm so consigned to relegation that, being offered a glimmer of hope by 3 points, would only serve to draw out my suffering. Such a shame.

My prediction: Yeovil P-P Orient.

What a waste of a train ticket.

The ground is on the far side of the town from the station so it's quite a hike. The Arrow pub nearest to the ground is worth a visit it has both home and away fans drinking together.

Advice: Don't. Apart from Oldham, Yeovil is my least favourite football ground that I've been to.

Oo, I've been to Oldham and that was bad - so windy! Why do you dislike Huish Park so much?

Did you ever get to Chesterfield's old ground, Saltergate? That was abysmal in a charming kind of way...

It's just had a bit of a spruce up and has a new manager, still got all the screens and will have footy on.

Is it because it's a pig to get to from the train station? Or the open terrace where the wind and rain batter you? Or the lack of refreshment in the ground? Can't think why myself... :2thumb:

Orient's new manager used to play for us and I've never seen a player put the fear of God into me like Danny Webb.

There was a game at Port Vale where he came on as sub and genuinely looked like he'd been possessed. Ran round like a mad man with demonic eyes.

It's 15 months since i've been in The Arrow as i missed this season's League game through ill health, look forward to checking it out next season as it's the nearest club to me and i'll get a lift with my Yeovil supporting neighbour.

Not to mention that the away end once had a fucking swarm of wasps every bloody part of the terrace. Also I once turned round and this fugly mofo was standing right behind me

I always get the bus from the station myself back to town. Get a bus back from Asda to town after the game, then get a taxi back to Junction after getting supplys in town.

I hope this goes ahead, the though of having to come back here on a Tuesday night with us already down is not something that I want to do........I'd rather we lose now.

Remember when we came here in League One and played out a 3-3 draw in which Andros Townsend scored an absolute blinder for us? Well, after innumerate awful visits to this absolute hole of a ground/town/county, I decided it wouldn't ever get any better than that and resolved never to go there again.

I did precisely the same with the equally-abysmal Glandford park when we gained our first win (3-2 courtesy of living legend Super Kev) on my 7th visit. Never again. Makes life so much more pleasant. And financially stable.

Anyhoo, if there's as much snow down there as there is up here it won't be on. Wouldn't mind as we might get the only striker in the squad who has scored more than one league goal in their entire career fit again.

It's snowing here in Somerset but not much and the grass isn't frozen so you should be okay, wrap up though it's bloody cold.

A draw was about right, I was again very happy with our style of football and the way we played, it gave us a chance and we caused Yeovil problems - But we just don't have enough up front, which will ultimately be our undoing. Rowan Liburd is fucking awful.

Teams keep punishing us for our mistakes, something we fail to do when the roles are reversed.

Yeovil played ok in patches, they did start the second half strongly but failed to kill us off. They got punished at the end for sitting too deep and their foward line didn't hold the ball up well enough, Way's subs made no impact I thought.

Webbs subs changed the game for us, we stretched Yeovil more with Koroma out wide and Massey up front.

A draw was the right result.

Great to see Liam Kelly back for us in midfield, we have badly, badly missed him.

Eh? I think Huish Park is a shite place to watch football on an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere. I think Yeovil is a shite place to visit with no decent pubs, nothing extracurricular of any interest and a train station that's bloody miles from the ground. All in all it's nearly - but not quite - as shit as Scunthorpe.

That's not trolling, it's an opinion. Sorry if you're a snowflake about it.

...and the county? So there's not one redeeming feature in the whole of Somerset?

I've never been called a snowflake before, bless you :hail:
