This sort of display won't reassure the Gooners one bit.
Elneny definitely didn't fancy it.

He nearly BROKE THE BAR. Well, no, he didn't really did he.

He might have done if it was made out of giant polos. Incidenatally, I wonder how many times Arsenal have played a competetive game with wheely goals.

I will laugh if Sanchez gets injured. Completely unnecessary. At least one of the Sutton players should be able to get his shirt at the end of the game.

They'll be watching it trust me while watching North Ferriby dvds at the same time!
They were being interviewed on footy focus prior to the Brighton game and watching a game of an upcoming opponent they are that focused!
It's scary!

They were watching footage of Brighton in that football focus interview. Rumoured that he and Nicky began their METICULOUS preparation for Solihull during the Brighton game, before the match had even finished.

I saw in an interview before the Brighton game he claimed he worked TWENTY hour days. Far too good and clever to sleep.

There's actually five brothers and they rotate.
Sutton haven't disgraced themselves here except with the shirt sponsors.

He doesn't sleep. He meticulously prepares his nervous system for the next days challenge by carefully planning out a controlled resting schedule. During which he subconsciously plots different ways to effectively utilise Matt Rhead.

What a fucking prat Wayne Shaw is. Leaves a bit of a sour taste in the mouth (no pun intended) when all the focus should be on that superb Sutton performance.

Given that the sun were sponsoring Sutton and they were offering 8/1 on it happening it wouldnt suprise me if they paid him or the club to eat that pie/pasty as a publicity stunt.

Thought I was the only one who was bored with that overweight prick. "What a lovely guy" - head butted a fan.

Like it makes a difference to you if you get tanked. Enjoy your big day, just wouldn't like all the big front page headlines with that Sun logo all over it.

Nor do I. But there are worse things in life and I wasn't going to let anyone ruin my day. Until full time

Proud of our team tonight. Decent battling performance. Matched a decent Arsenal team for the most part and we never let our heads drop

Only disappointment was the day trippers. Flare, pitch invasion and damage to the terrace

Even though Sutton beat us in round three, I've been very supportive of them. I understood the taking of the Sun's filthy lucre although I thought it was a very poor decision by the Sutton board. However it looks like Wayne Shaw skewed a bet that Sunbet were offering odds on by eating a pie. I really hope that the management/board had no knowledge of this. Disgraceful regardless of who was/wasn't complicit.

As for the football, Arsenal were a class above but Sutton did very well to peg them back to just 0-2.

Why did people get heir knickers in a twist about Sutton sponsoring Sun for this game. It's vital funds that clubs like that can't turn down. will pay for their whole budget for 6 months.

Arsenal were always a bit better and let's hope the extra 3,000 that have turned up last 3 sell outs go back to support them but I doubt it.

Sutton were great I thought, done the league proud. Shame they didn't score. Never knew Tim Vine was a fan.

And Wayne Shaw was actually on the bench lol. How the fuck can he be a semi competent keeper when he's a fat fuck who eats pies during the game on the bench? What if he'd needed to come on? Embarrassing.

Yeah, a lot of Sutton's achievements turned a bit sour not just through emblazoning their club with Sun Bets advertisements, but that gonzo pie eating goalie stunt was just sad. Like the fat kid in year seven doing a striptease for a Real Fruit Winder. Surely they've made more than enough money already, without having to make fun of themselves and their level of football for one of the scummiest publications going?

96 reasons to get our knickers in a twist about a football club linking itself with the sun mate

The Sun are scum, but it's still the best selling paper in the country? Why?

As mentioned before was more than uneasy about the deal, and at least after last night that whole circus has left town. But it won't taint a fantastic FA Cup run, a run that's given me some of the best memories of my Sutton life. FYI I and several other Sutton fans wore Hillsborough Justice items last night and the club knows how we feel about it. But the circus has left town, we're not the first non-league club to take S*n money and I highly doubt we'll be the last.

Oh, and last night we suffered damage to the pitch (due to a flare) and the terracing behind the goal goal had a panel kicked in. Not to mention bellends jumping on the crossbar trying to bring it down. Wonder where some of the S*n money will go....

Well played Sutton. Arsenal were predictably a bit too good in the end, but you certainly gave them a game.

I was certain that they'd got Wayne Shaw in for a bit of publicity but he definitely overshadowed the Sutton achievement. The 'he's a big lad' soundbite was in overdrive and the whole pie bet thing is a complete mockery of non-league and football as a whole. Shows whys gambling is pretty bad.

As for the game, it was awful. Not sure whether that was a good performance from Sutton but I dread to think of the quality of the league this year. Arsenal weren't much better.

That Shaw thing is the reason people still don't take the NL seriously!

Notice Doswell had a bit of a dig at Lincoln then ended on a positive note in his interview. Well, dig probably isn't the correct word, but it was something that came across as trying to play down what we've done whilst increase people's thinking of Sutton's run.

The standard of this division is at an all time low. Not one stand-out or impressive side in it. Embarrassing, really.
