Plymouth away is about as bad as it could've got really. Decent League Two side, hundreds of miles away. Oh well.

Only dozens in my case :2thumb: , and I can actually get home by train afterwards. (apologies to other Gills fans)

Reading at home is decent enough, I feel like we haven't played Reading for years so it's nice to have a bit of fresh opposition. Winnable as well.

The way we are looking at the moment you will have a good chance of beating us. Pleased with the draw as its one of the few grounds i haven't been to. 2001-2002 was the last time we played each other.

There's a few ex-Medway dockers down in Plymouth so we normally get a decent (all things considered) turnout down there. Would be surprised if we broke 150 for this one though!

Preston at home isn't to bad, winnable especially with PNE's record at Gresty Rd in the last few years, if they rest a few players ie/ Garner and Beckford, we've got a decent chance.

TV games will be between Bristol Rovers vs Birmingham, Yeovil vs QPR, Doncaster vs Leeds, Accrington vs Hull. Not sure how many they show though, maybe 2?

Well what started off a terrible draw for us has turned more reasonable as the day has worn on I think.

Yes, its Preston and we've played them 7 times in recent years, but our home record over that period is pretty good, 2 wins and a draw from 3 games. We often give a good account of ourselves in this competition and if Preston have tricky games either side of this, then they might leave the likes of Garner and Beckford out. The club have also set the ticket prices at £10 for adults, which is excellent and much better than the £18 I think it was for the Bolton game last season. Should hopefully get a decent crowd from us and optimistically 1,000 from Preston. All though, that depends on who they have in their opening away game. Looking forward to it.

But if we do well in the cup we can do worse than expected in the league!? Or at least that's what the media would have you believe -.-

Hopefully nag someone into going to this one

Wigan away is a good tie in isolation but it's a given now that we will get Wigan away first game.

Pretty much best draw we could have got, not that there was a lot to choose from.

Several of us.
Could easily see us losing that one. We'll be integrating a number of new players and Barnet on a decent roll. Shame its not away from home as would like to visit the new ground.

Yeah, I think we have a slim chance of getting something from it. I much prefer it to be at yours as its a new ground for me. Is there a chance of any trouble?

Bolton away. Que the smallest ever attendance at the macron or whatever it's called this week.
Possibly the most unattractive fixture for the trotters. So hopefully we go there and win while they are busy counting the empty seats

Rather nice as a seeded team to pull little-known minnows Coventry out of the hat... :)

To be fair mate Millwall have earnt their reputation over the years. Think it's a legitimate question - The Den is hardly publicised as a fantastic experience for away fans is it?
