Yeah, of all the things to complain about the last couple of games, a cameo by a new signing doesn't quite make the list.

It would seem Paul Cox was far too good AND clever for Danny Cowley today.

Still on the way home from Southport and still incredibly frustrated. For the 2nd game this week we didnt turn up until we went 1-0 down and then started playing football, thankfully both times we managed to get out of jail with an equaliser but there will be a time when we don't. Not good enough and Waddock was quite rightly furious after the game!

On the bright side, at least Charlie Walker is back so we can drop Rendell after another poor display today.

We won, and deservedly so, and I suppose that's all that matters, and at least the performance wasn't on the same scale of 'durge' that we all endured on Tuesday, it was okay.
However without wanting to be unkind to our hosts, York offered little, and as a relegated league team I kind of expected a lot more from them.
Despite his goal, I just hope Kinnear comes to his bloody senses for next weekend and puts Miller back into the middle. Our problem, certainly our biggest problem is numbers, looking at the bench it's obvious we urgently need some quality reinforcements and if we pick up any injuries we really are screwed.
Ironically despite the clammer to play Moore, our loan signing from Orient, a few weeks back after now seeing him play for times, its becoming quite clear that whilst okay, that's probably all he probably is and would like to also ask Aldershot supporters what Stevenson was like last year, because whilst not knocking the lad he also appears to be another that after 11 games falls into the 'okay' category.
Three points banked though and in touch of the play offs at least give us hope, and if we can beat Lincoln next weekend which is going to be a big ask then who knows, but all whites fans are now dreading the January 'window' and that more than results will probably define our season

Oh and I have to say, after watching the Sutton Tranmere game, I can really sympathise with the supporters of the latter because they really were shit. We may not quite have the same level of ambition, and or expectations but with their support and resources I too would be really pissed off watching that, and can totally understand why they would like to see the back of Brabin.
Dear oh dear!

.......and a final oh, though he plahyed really well, how chubby was the Sutton CH BTW, just don't get how managers can allow players to get so rotund :(
That said, though I have always liked Mcnulty, and still think he is a great reader of the game, and always looks so calm, but without jumping onto the 'You fat bastard' train am afraid he isn't just chubby any more, he's now an out walrus, and even bigger than last year. No wonder he never tucks his shirt in. How can that be acceptable in any full time team :told:
That said because we are part time, would still love either down the Crabble :gmc:

Very much in the 'okay' category for us too, hard worker but never had a noticeable influence on games.
How would you compare him to Bellamy? Because he's been one of our best players this season and it feels like we've definitely got the better deal.

Been a strange week, winning at Tranmere going top, then haven't turned up in two consecutive home games. Looks like the new MF becoming a bit of a target and a blame. Not sure of the exact reason why we have been so poor these games but am sure the Cowleys will sort it.

Just goes to show how poor your manager and team are with a much bigger budget. I would take small crowds and a winning team over larger crowds and fans willing waving at having bigger crowds despite doing fuck all other than wanking at playing Wrexham each season, good luck in you relegation battle fella.

The best 4 possession based sides in Europe.

We keep possession for fun. Yes it wasn't exciting our build up was very slow and we didn't create that much, and at times Bromley looked dangerous when we gave the ball away in dangerous areas, but the way we keep the ball is ridiculous for this level. Yet again we had about 75% possession and our passing success rate must be well over 90%, our keeper and CB's around 95. Completely different level to all the other cloggers in this league.

Same old Rovers, taking the piss.

Sportfreunde Lotte are currently top of the 3. Bundesliga (similar level and average attendances to League One) on crowds of less than 1,500. Dynamo Dresden escaped that league last season on attendances higher than Lotte's entire population. Huge parachute payments aside, these tales give hope for all of us tinpotters.

What crowds did Dagenham get in League One out of interest? Doesn't exactly help that eveyone that lives there is a "big 'ammers fan mate".

What Bellamy required was a run of games, but he kept being injured and then was out for a period , Never really showed what he can do , and be honest Dover fans never really took to him like you seem to have, although we would have taken him over the managers son who plays a similar role, having said that he was offered a contract for this year but declined to move to you, I think he got the arse with Kinnear, when he was dropped for the second leg of the play off semi with FGR, and of course full time football, not a tough choice really......
Even so acted professionally and we wish him luck , not sure where he lives, and as most players we sign , do get fed up travelling down to Dover, and remember we train in the evenings still. one of our players lives in Portsmouth.

Happy with a point at Gateshead yesterday. We defended strongly and our goalkeeper, Nathan Vaughan was outstanding. Our upcoming games are a little easier so hopefully we can start to pull away from the relegation zone.
I'm not surprised Gateshead have a lack of fans with that crap stadium.

3500 - 4000 at times. The bigger clubs would bring 700-1000 and then we'd probably have had a consistent 2000 home support. Unfortunately, with us being naff for the past few years, a lot have defected to the Hammers I imagine.

I would guess charging £21 doesnt help either, especially with so many other clubs on your doorstep. Good for recruitment not so good for crowds for the smaller clubs in the London area.

£21 is about £6 in London

Watched our highlights, read our forum - looks like the whole team did well yesterday. I've seen this Barrow side 7 times now, and can confidently say it's the best we've had in the past decade. There's a lot more to come, we can afford to strengthen, and players like Ross Hannah still to get a proper run in the team.
No offence to Lincoln, but I'm glad we didn't sign Rhead. The forwards we've got instead are great, and both could make the step up with us, or be sold on for cash.

We've already won 3 away games this season, which is more than we have in entire seasons, Cox keeps talking about how his sides always start badly (4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6 though), which gives hope that we'll be a proper force once everything clicks, we're playing decent football now after some hoofball stuff earlier this season, and I'm sure we'll sign one or two good players in the next few months. I'd be surprised - and gutted - if we didn't make top 5.

We haven't got a bigger budget than you. You're living off your parachute payments. They won't last forever and don't forget we thrashed you at ours.
