I had no idea what you were talking about as I don't often look at any forums other than this one so just read up about it in the Announcements forum. Fair to say that the original idea of supporting the funding of the site with these bets is no longer required so money to a chosen charity does seem a much better use of my money too, good call.

I didn't lose my bet but like the Judge says it was only because McGeehan got injured. TBH, I think he would've got more goals than Berry if he hadn't. Cam was some 3 goals ahead of Berry by the time of his injury iirc.

Didn't realise you had such a hold on us until I went back over the records. We've done ok in the cups but last time we avoided defeat in the league was '83 (driver seatbelts had just become mandatory) and the last league win for us was '76 (the Cod War with Iceland was still raging).
