Well you needn't think you're going to be challenging in the top half of L2 next season, you start at the bottom and work your way up!
Just like everyone else, what an absolute tit of a statement

I don't even think Donny Rovers would win in the incompetence stakes in this division, Notts County and Leyton Orient look far better placed to win this one.

I don't think the board are incompetent, naive and indecisive yes. My opinion will change if they make the same mistake next season.

They will.

There's been nothing to suggest they won't. If they had learned from their mistakes Fergie would be gone.

We have good foundations for next season but it's all down to Murray getting the signings right and JR backing him, which he's apparently going to do.

Maybe he fancies another big budget season again, hard to know with JR considering two seasons ago we had a top three budget at the start of the season and the next year it was one of the smallest.

Like Notts County have shown though, you can spend a lot of money and still be shite.

Everyone will have a bigger budget next year. The cut of the sky money is worth more and the loss of the emergency loan window will probably result in larger squads

We are 6-1 with Betfair, given that we want rid of most of the squad but only one of them has a contract that runs out in June I'd say those odds are very short

Oh well another year of teams parking the bus time wasting and kicking shit out of everyone. Can't wait. Guessing we will be clear favourites again for no good reason.

Well, with the result today seeing Wimbledon get promoted, we now have the full line up for next season.

Blackpool(relegated from L1)
Doncaster(relegated from L1)
Crewe(relegated from L1)
Colchester(relegated from L1)
Plymouth
Accrington
Portsmouth
Cambridge
Wycombe
Carlisle
Mansfield
Exeter
Luton
Leyton Orient
Barnet
Notts County
Hartlepool
Crawley
Stevenage
Yeovil
Morecambe
Newport
Cheltenham(promoted from the conference)
Grimsby(promoted from the conference)

Looking like a very tough league. Probably lacking in quality, but still tough. Lots of travelling, especially for the northern based teams.

Portsmouth, Cambridge, Doncaster and Luton to be up there for me. With Cheltenham competing well too.

Don't think you'll be up there again?

I think we currently have 3 players under contract for next season so no idea. Adams's recruitment has been fairly good over the season so we could be, however if you take the league since the New Year or Christmas or something like that, I read somewhere we'd be 9th or 10th. So at the moment I'm not overly confident.

I would only disagree with Doncaster as being one of your tips for the top in League 2. Their fans don't seem to be as confident as you about their prospects and to me it's another case of their squad being a collection of talented, well-known players who have not gelled together.

Way too early to judge anything but reckon next season will be tough as there is a distinct lack of quality in this divison now. I think both Notts and Mansfield will somewhat surprise and do well, Plymouth & Portsmouth will be up there again, Doncaster will probably be the only side coming down from League 1 to even vaguely challenge. We'll come mid table again but win the fair play league for the 3rd/4th season in a row so I ask who the real winners will be?

We're 50/1 to win the league next season. Probably about right given we're keeping quite a lot of this season's team.

Because of the increased northern bias of the league our total travelling mileage has gone up nearly a thousand miles to 8,602.

One league lower. Still look at league/fixtures wondering where we're going to get enough points from.

Above 18th would be fantastic. It's do-able if Lowe's ability doesn't fall off the edge of the cliff given his age and we're able to make a few more "good" signings. But still interested to see where bookies put us for relegation.
