They've offered it to all season ticket holders of any club. So B2TF I noticed you guys don't have a game I'm sure you'd love the BPA game ;)

But if we didn't get 3 points I'd be disappointed.
Sorry, I can only bear these Tin Pot shit holes when I have to. :bdick:

I honestly dont envy you guys in this league, it looks uber competitive. Perhaps the strongest its been before?

My honest opinion is that if you put us in this division now we would struggle to get top 8. Seems to be a bottle neck of very strong teams in there . Cant believe Alty have only won once all season.
The strength of the top teams in this league is an illusion, you'd know that if you'd seen them play. They all blow hot and cold, within and without matches- when they blow hot they flatter to decieve and when they blow cold, they are as grim and dire as it gets. Drop a good solid National League team in here and they would steamroller the league. It was never going to happen but if we'd kept the players that won at Wembley we'd be out of sight now. As it is, we've shipped them out and replaced them with North fucking Ferriby's set of donkeys. I'm deeply embarrassed by the shower of shit now wearing our shirts, the one question on everyones lips is "how the fucking hell did we come to this?". :bdick:

Fylde and Kiddy easily the best 2 sides I've seen us play. The rest, I look at our squad last year and don't see why we'd have won the majority of them games. Safe to say, the decline in what we put on the pitch has been steep

Alty have signed Clayton McDonald:fl: played against us for Worcester at centre back, scored an og and got subbed off after 50 minutes, about 3 stone overweight then, worst player i have seen in a long time, and that's a statement seen as we've got O'Keefe

Nuneaton 4 (Ironside 24p,63,74p,84) Alfreton 1(A.Smith 13)

I didnt go today and I am fucking glad I didnt!! I am livid with the result. Sam old fucking dog shite away from home. Get an early grip on the game and we are pathtically weak and just throw it all away. Clear penalties, braindead individula errors and whats worse Joe Ironside who was only good enough for a wheelchair when with us scores 4! Fucking Jesus.

Sounds like we went backwards to our early season performances. I am absolutely gutted about the result obviously but to take the lead and then gift them goals with two penalties and several individual errors AGAIN makes it worse. I have lost count of the amount of times this has happened. Nicky is like a broken record and its clearly not working. The players have shown they are capable. They competed and where the better side against a Football league side for 180 minutes. Yet in the league particularly away from home we are extremely weak. The table doesnt lie. We have not quite yet played 20 games but we have concede over half a century of goals and have lost 11 of 19 league games speaks volumes really.
Our fixtures have been cut in two this season. Top half sides at home and fellow strugglers away before Christmas and the opposite after Christmas pretty much. Two very tough home leagues coming up now. Dont expect anything from Halifax and Salford and thats puts immense pressure on the Telford double header. Obviously I wasnt there and I felt before the game it was written in the stars for Joe Ironside to score but four?! This a striker by the who was bullied by the centre backs of Whaley Bridge Althetic of Step 6 in the DSC last season for goodness sake.

Sounded like their where Notable dissenting voices (fans whose opinion has a say) at the final whistle. Interesting especially with plenty of good candidates waiting in the wings. Kevin Wilson of course, Dennis Greene too.

Three of the academy lads have signed for the first team. Ellis Evans Morgan Brough and Moziah Solassie.

Particularly enthused by Solassie who is a pacy, agile right back (a position of concern) with good composure and quick feet. Really got something about him. He is a Bermudan Under 19 International too.

I've been convinced that Harvey would eventually sort us out and we'd get up towards midtable. For the first time now I actually think we're going down. Which is just incredible. I can't believe how wrong things have gone so quickly. All stems from two truly dreadful managerial appointments in the shape of Tolson and then Young. People are starting to call for change at boardroom level. I think some of these people envisage some sugardaddy type arrangement with a couple of millionaires from Halebarns or Bowdon getting involved. Can't say the idea appeals to me. But I am starting to wonder whether the current chairman is the right one.

I went on Saturday, first game in 6 weeks. Tamworth were distinctly average, just like Boston, Telford, Stockport, Curzon and all the others, but still won comfortably.

A real funereal atmosphere too, with a crowd no bigger than 550 IMO. Jim's record is now 9 league defeats from 10 games.

Went up to BPA on the weekend, only missed 1 league game all year, mainly due to the enjoyment I am having now that we're winning the odd game.

You could see our quality from start to finish really and there was only 1 team who was only ever going to win that game. We put our foot off the gas and recently we have had the luxury of allowing Gnuahoa and Ngtwalala to rip the opposition to pieces and getting the job done allowing them to substituted with half hour to spare.

Other than Fylde, there hasn't been a team i've seen been able to compete with our tempo and general fitness levels.

Not impressed by Bradford, seemed to be real cloggers and had nothing in midfield where Croasdale won 9/10 of his duels on the day. Francis-Angol was also impressive on the left, causing all sorts of damaged with MotM Ghnouha on the day.

Beat Darlo at home in a couple of weeks and it will set us up nicely for January, where I am sure they'll be some sort of movement. If Fylde lose Rowe in January and we keep Gnuohaoa/Ngtwalala, we win the league.

Like Kiddy as a club. Looked a very good side when they made the trip to the North East. And a great little ground too. Looks like staying full time has payed some dividends for them this season.

Just out of interest are all of the squad full time or full time topped up with some part timers?
If you were to stay in this league next year do you think it would be on a full or part time basis?
Do you have any fear about losing any players. Already been mentions of some clubs sniffing around Rowe at Fylde. Do you think you might losee anyone? Your wingers stick in the memory as being good players.

Any way best of luck for the rest of the season apart from on the 17th of course. Playoffs look like they could be deadly this year any 4 from Kiddy, Chorley, Halifax, Darlo, Salford, Brackley, Stockport and Tamworth.

Yes, all of our squad are full time, and that will remain the same regardless of the division we are in next year, our owner is very adamant about that.

It is inevitable that there will be plenty of interest in a lot of our current squad, particularly Gnahoua, Ngwatala, Croasdale and Francis-Angol, all young players that have consistently impressed this season and could play at a higher level. If all are still here come the end of January, it will be a miracle! Gnahoua is the most important to keep, he's been our best player this season on the left wing and is scoring consistently, outstanding player who surely has ambition to play in the FL.

I see Alty have sacked Jim Harvey on a matchday no less v Blyth in the Trophy!
His record is so bad I don't think it matters if it's a matchday or not - it was always a poisoned chalice taking over from the abomination of a squad that Neil Young had put together but if anything Harvey somehow managed to make them worse.

Very true. Jim Harvey did manage to make them worse, and his signings were no better than Young's. My biggest fear is that Doughty is retained, as he's now been assistant during two absolutely awful spells (Tolson and Harvey).

As I just said Darryl Knights has signed for us until the end of the season. Hopefully a very good signing makes me worried Elton Ngwatala is off but think Knights is a solid replacement for him.

http://www.harriers.co.uk/news/arti...acking-midfielder-darryl-knights-3454665.aspx

A little underwhelmed if it is Ngtwatala's replacement. Didn't rate him too greatly but with our style of football, he may flourish and the years of experience since he was last with us may have made him a better player.

I think we will see another familiar face in the next month or so.

Russ Penn I've heard or Constable.

But Knights has changed from a striker when he was us to a Cam which has probably helped him plus he's played at got out of this division. I'm hopeful he'll be good. Hopefully more like Keith Lowe in terms of a comeback rather than MBH

Jim Harvey's available...

Seriously though, lighten up. The table doesn't look too bad for you really, win your games in hand and you're back in the top 5.

Heath did brilliantly with NFU and you can't have that many donkeys given a lot of them were in a trophy winning side and then in a promotion winning side up last year. Your cup performances have been pretty good as well, if your players were that shite you wouldn't be matching the likes of Dagenham and Eastleigh.

You're still not getting it are you Chris? Let me try explain. Clubs like Eastleigh and Dagenham may be the yardstick for clubs like yours and North Ferriby but a REAL club would expect to be beating them whatever league they were in. Last time we were at this level and lower we had: Jamie Vardy, Lee Gregory, Scott Hogan, Dan Gardner and a host of others who now play in the Football League. The shower we have now maybe North Ferriby's All Stars, but there's none of them going anywhere when they leave us. :bdick:

Alright fair enough.

Just think it's a bit early to be getting too down on your team already, when you've still got a good chance of promotion and have shown yourselves to be a decent side against sides who, despite your disdain of them, are currently at a higher level.

3 more released from Alty - all Jim Harvey signings. Apparently that's 21 players (inc 5 loanees) released so far this season!
