Darlo have launched the #BoostTheBudget scheme we had last season, raising over 86k.

We’ve raised over 6.5k in 54 minutes after launching it this evening.

Would like to to think we can raise 60k easily. I’ve shot my £275 yearly donation in once again. Add in my season ticket and my supporters club membership alongside other small one donations. My contribution for the year will equate to nearly £650 this season.

So we have released six.

Parkin-legs gone and slow
Law-one of worst ever player seen
Parslow-Great professional and would do a good job anywhere.
Bencherif-Good player 2 years ago but given to long contract.
Harris- ok and shows some good flashes
Rogerson-young kid who never seen play.

Eleven have left us with possibly more to come if they can't commit to the new hybrid training.

Jamal Crawford - Only here a few weeks, not had much of a chance but didn't show much.
Alex Downes - Apparently done well in loan spells but never forced his way in.
George Green - Big reputation but never got going after injury delayed start to his season.
Rhain Hellawell - Similar to Downes but picked up a bad injury.
Steven Howson - Giving the game up.
Connor King - Reserve keeper.
Sean McAllister - Done ok but too similar to too many other midfielders in the squad.
Ben McKenna - Decent winger at this level, will get fixed up somewhere.
Jon Moran - Bit disappointed we didn't keep him. Young centre-back.
John Pritchard - Never given a proper chance, could find another club at this level.
Dominic Smalley - Out of his depth and will drop back down a level most likely.

Alty win 7-6 on pens after 2-2 draw. What a fantastic game of football. Blyth were superb first half and deserved to be ahead, their second was 25 yard top corner screamer. But we got one back by a pen and second half we took control but just kept missing great chances, or their keeper (who was brilliant) made good saves, they were still a threat on the break as we pushed men forward. In the end sheer persistence got us a 93rd min equaliser, we controlled extra time but yet again missed great chances, Blyth had a couple as well. Pens were amazing, 12 consecutive unsaveable pens them we saved one an Hancock stuck the last one away.

Onto Chorley on Sunday which should be another brilliant game, Alty just keep playing great stuff and sunday should be another cracker.

Decided to go down and watch this one last night and it didn't disappoint (not just because of the cacophony of County legends in attendance!). Blyth started the better side capitalising on Alty's poor passing and deservedly took the lead through Jarrett Rivers (who was the stand out player for me last night - should be playing at a higher level). The 2nd came courtesy of a thunderbolt from the right back and Blyth looked in control.

Alty finally put together a decent attacking move following a switch from Moult to Johnston which lead to the penalty for handball following a shot from the edge of the area. Pen scored 2-1.

2nd half was a good contest with Alty trying to get back into the game but Blyth looking dangerous on the break. Alty finally hauled off the lanky No11 (Ceesay?) who was having a stinker and that seemed to improve Alty's play further. Finally the equaliser came in stoppage time. Delirious scenes! Blyth nearly nicked it right at the end but for a superb stop from Thompson.

Extra time was a bit of a non event with many players suffering from cramp and then penalties came and Alty won 7-6.

Good game for the neutral.

Apparently Blyth are cutting their budget significantly next season so are expected to struggle

Disappointed for Blyth, wanted them up as it's not far from where I live.

If Spennymoor don't come up, our Xmas 'derby' games games will probably be Chesterfield or someone daft like that.

MWS we're apparently in for Rivers if we can't get Luke Molyneux to stay.

If Spennymoor and Chorley don't come up and Fylde get promoted it might be us in your Christmas matches

I'd be happy if we signed Rivers. He's got unlimited energy quick feet and excellent defensive awareness for someone so tricky and attack minded.

He's very slight though so doesn't offer too much in terms physicality.

We'll get Torquay as they'll be our nearest opposition at 70 miles away and the only other club within 100 miles of us.

Looking forward to it, bound to be an improvement on last season where we had the Cornish squatters and their minibus of fans.

Is that Raj?

Tick tock, tick tock...

Yers said the same boring shite about IOR and Hodcroft year after year for about 10 years and it never happened.

Imagine raising 86k for players and finishing 16th in the regional league:fl:

And your club raised £75k and passed it to HMRC to pay the VAT bill of a man you accused of being a crook :£:£:£. It's almost as bad as losing £1.5m in 2017/18 season to finish 15th in the National League. Wouldn't that make you one of the worst pro teams in the country? Best watch out, no parachute payments from next season. Luckily Raj has always honorably dealt with clubs when he realised he don't have the funds or interest in financing the... doesn't he?

Yes, we did. We did say that when you were flying high and 8 minutes away from the championship, and when the gap was never bigger.

How silly we all now look as you bimble about in the bottom half of the NON LEAGUE conference national, losing to giants like Dover and Braintree and other clubs that no fucker has heard of?

Yes, we got it wrong.

I'd say the opposite. South shields would be a good addition to the league. Good away day. Plenty of fans.

Kings Lynn would be a pain in the arse to get to.

Shields will go all the way through to the league - they have the potential to get crowds of 3-4,000 in the league like any self respecting L2 club - the fan base is nearly in place for that, the finance is in place for that, it's just a case of battling through the minefield that is the national league premier when they get there.

Some may say that they are just another bankrolled club like Alfreton, Brackley, Spendymore, BPA and others, but the difference is that this club does not play in front of 3 men and a dog.

The rise of both Shields and Alvechurch has been remarkable. I'd like to see Alvechurch or Stourbridge come up just because they're more local to us.

Never forgiven those bastards for fixing a draw on the final day with Swindon to stop us from getting into those play offs. Bastards.

I don't fancy another long trek to Stourbridge. I saw Kings Lynn signposted on the way down to Boston, so that's a tricky trip. Alvechurch and Stratford Town? :pond:

I think I'll go for South Shields it's less mileage than Warrington.

We have fantastic fan's that love our club :woo:You can overcome anything if and only if you love something enough #OurFootballClub#

The truth is, i can't fathom out why we get ridiculed for raising money for our club.
