Aldershot - Gateshead
Barrow - York

North Ferriby - Southport
Solihull - Boreham Wood
Torquay - Maidstone
Tranmere - Woking

The weekend kicks off with the Welsh derby at the Racecourse and on current form, Wrecsam may not be favourites. A few other interesting clashes, the wobbling Imps trip to Dover, and at the wrong end of the table, Southport's visit to North Ferriby. Expecting wins for Forest Green, Dagenham and the improving Barrow in the top six.

Life after Brabin isn't going to be easy. With his side-kick Paul Carden in charge, the drawbacks of his mentor's small squad make things difficult, Hughes banned, Kirby, Mekki and Connor Jennings out injured, so expect a Louis Almond debut and a couple of youngsters on the bench. Woking not sending a coach and home support down, so probably the lowest crowd this season at PP. It's a game where a point wouldn't be a disaster, but not confident of that.

Tricky match at Bromley and it should be a good turnout away fans wise. We head into a really tough run of games after this so 3 points would be great, don't expect too much from our following 7 or 8 games. Bromley are hit and miss and have a few ex Daggers in their side, hopefully we will keep them quiet but they are going to be up for it.

Come mid November we will know if we're serious contenders or not. I expect us to drop down to 6-8th position by then.

If Wrexham lose surely time will be running out for Mills?

Isn't Chester's ground in Wales or have I made that up?

Can see us slipping up to be honest.

Think it's a good time to be playing Tranmere with the playing side of the club in total disarray. Suspect Garry Hill's tactical nous will prove too much for Tranmere's dilapidated bunch of misfits. Not given up all hope of nicking a win, but Norwood will have to return to his August form and Almond will have to show the sort of form he usually reserves for playing against Tranmere.

We're training at West 'aaaaam tomorrow on the way down to Dover.

Would snap your hand off for a point off the back of the previous two performances.

Wrexham are genuinly calling it 'Cross Border Classico'.

Decent piece from the Chester Chron today, from our side it's definitely more like the 'Armchair Derby' this time around - http://www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/sport/football/chester-fc-welcome-armchair-derby-11912220

I need to leave my house (In Chester) 3 hours before kick off on Saturday to go 12 miles. During the day we'll also cross the England/Wales border six times through the diversion they'll take the convoy.

We are at home to Gateshead, who are probably our bogey team in this division. The last 3 seasons we have lost 2-1 at home each time, and in all 3 games Gateshead have nicked a late winner.

Eastleigh away. Nick Bailey is suspended and Jamie Cureton has just signed for the home team so I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose

Mills will need his own individual bubble to get out of the ground safely if we lose this one.

Nah, our home record makes us favourites.
Got a feeling we are going to smash this one. Robbie Evans back in midfield the key. Rooney scoring obviously.
Mills giving the players three days off inspired.

One of football's great derbies for us, a fixture that regularly drew 20,000+ back in the day. Up The Avenue. :bdick:

We had his former strike partner Chris Iwelumo 2 years ago. It was a club too far for him. I doubt Cureton has it in him anymore either. Has he got a coaching role?

Pink slips for Miller?

Think we'll get something from the game. Miller will bag inevitably, I think it'll be 1-1 and I'd take that.

Talk on our forum that Raggett might not be able to play for Lincoln against Dover whilst the tribunal is still pending? Anyone got any idea if that's true?

Like Shotsfan says above Gateshead are a bit of a jinx side for us but we have been so bad for the last few seasons we deserved nothing from those games

With the new regime and playing style I fancy us to nick it this time. A last minute winner would be poetic justice :ohy:
