Blackpool equalise with their first sniff of goal second half. Frustrating but a cracking header from Rhodes, need to stay positive and keep pressing high but I fear a sucker punch late on.

Stayed positive kept pressing high and got a fucking reward. Hoskins nicks it off the keepers toe and slots it home from the tightest of angles. Super Sam.

Half time:

Carlisle United 3-1 Carlisle United.

We are a sham. First time this season I've thought we genuinely look like a side destined for relegation. Gifted all 3 goals, and lost Garner to injury.

I'm not sure any amount of money can turn around a losing mentality.

I’ve thought it for a while. It’s so disappointing and worryingly it’s a continuation from the last couple of months of last season. I didn’t expect us to pull up any trees this season but I expected better than this. It’s been disastrous, topped off by our worst performance tonight. It wouldn’t be so bad if we were doing all we can, but we aren’t, many players badly underperforning.

Being the worst team in the league is unacceptable.

Bloody hell Cambridge, when did you become so dreadful? By far the most comfortable game this season.

First half didn't get out of first gear. As soon as we got that first goal, any confidence from Cambridge soon went. Very straightforward.

2nd half, expected Cambridge to come at us, but for the first 20 mins, we were in complete control and should have extended the lead.

Cambridge look slightly better after making the subs, but when you don't get a shot on target till 82nd min, that says it all. Our 3rd killed the game off completely, just after the shot on target from Cambridge.

Poor result against a bang average Derby but again one sloppy error and games done.

That Carlisle game has been one weird old game to watch.

Personally think we played better than them most of the game, had the ball around their box a lot more than reading have at us.

But each and every time they get about our box we look a panic stricken mess and they have to work so incredibly hard in other sides box to get so little from it.

Probably having to look for a spine of side in transfer window

Can’t argue with any of that, very comfortable for you lot and deserved 3pts.

The answer to your question is that we’ve been dreadful for 15 out of 18 months and bonner is under pressure now, the football is abysmal and very predictable.

Think we could be playing until the new year and we still wouldn’t have scored.

Huge huge win, fucking buzzing with that. Had a clear gameplay that Blackpool struggled to deal with and got the rewards. Pompey Saturday is a free hit now.

We predictably lost.
Didn’t even test the keeper.
For the love of god - get rid of this amateur now before are in the bottom 4.

Absolutely appalling second half at the Mem. No quality on show whatsoever. Fitting that we equalise in injury time from a poorly-defended free kick. Right result but the game had two more goals than it deserved. Abysmal stuff.

I didn't think we were that great but we dealt with most of what you had to throw at us comfortably and Seddon had a mare up against Kamara. As soon as the second went in, it was game over.

The really worrying news is the ankle injury to Colby Bishop that looks pretty bad given his foot was in a boot and he was on crutches after the game. If we lose him for any significant time then we're fucked.

Took two penalties (no arguments with either to be fair) to beat us - both scored by May who we kept quiet otherwise - and we actually played ok considering we had a midfield three with Oliver Hammond and Ellis Chapman in it (both of whom part of a team made to look amateur by West Ham's kids a could of weeks back).

We're at least competitive now. We might have just gone back to the bottom of the league, but we're playing well and I'm more confident of escape than at any other point this season.

This team is done. Our only hope is we can get to January and somehow only be 5 or 6 points adrift and bring in the required quality.

These players are done, they know they aren’t good enough so have thrown in the towel. Pathetic.

The worst team in the league, and now the most gutless bunch of losers. What a combination.

Entertaining game tonight, disappointing not to win having led by 2 goals but fair to say that Peterborough deserved something from the game. Two contrasting styles on show, Peterborough with plenty of the ball, we were more direct, second half they were comfortably better than us unfortunately. When they pulled one back it really did feel like only a matter of time before it went 2-2, when they did find the equaliser I fully expected them to go on to win it so pleasantly surprised that didn't happen.

Great goal by Luther, with his weaker foot too, doesn't score many but when he does they're always highlight worthy.

How are we going to bring in the quality players required when our training facilities left by all of our previous tinpot owners, are still 19th century standard?

They said it could take up to 2 years to get state of the art facilities, so until then we will struggle to sign a single quality player which means relegation to L2 and fighting for football league survival next season I'm afraid.

Ah who needs the Premier League anyway? When you've got good old L2.

Terrible performance. Derby weren't great but we just kept handing chances to them. Their keeper looked terrible and will hold them back...looked about 12. Their goal came from us once again handing possession to them in a dangerous area.

We need to act now, as this is only going one way. We've got zero threat up front and I don't remember a shot we had all night. Only 5,000 Vale fans there...if we were doing well there'd be nearly double that...says all you need to know.

Ryan Loft is potentially the worst footballer I've ever seen. He doesn't know where the ball is and his first touch is a 10 yard pass..genuinely appalling. Who sanctioned that signing?

He’s going to have to somehow pull a rabbit out of a hat. This shower of shit makes our 2014 relegation team look like Real Madrid and will 100% finish bottom without January reinforcements.

We need 4 or 5 quality players minimum. And the current ones need a boot up their arses to up their efforts.

A fantastic result for us, did not expect that at all. One of, if not our best performance of the season. Blackpool should have levelled it in the last second of the game though. We pressed throughout and didnt just sit back after they levelled through a cracking header from Rhodes.

Super Sam with his 11th goal of the season. In the last 18 months he has over 30 league goals, i know he isnt the best player overall, but he has become such a consistent goal getter. Will be interesting to see if we get any bids for him in January. I think that his goals give us something the other teams looking to stay up dont have, a consistent goal scorer.

I’ll take a 0-0 draw at Exeter all day in our current predicament. ANOTHER injury, this time to Elliot Bennett forcing us into another early substitution.

Draw was a fair result, think the best chance of the game fell to Udoh but a good save from the Exeter keeper prevented us taking the 3 points. Just like ourselves, Exeter won’t be scoring many goals for the remainder of the season, never once felt like we would concede even on the odd goalmouth scramble. Think they’ll be one of the favourites for the drop tbh.

Best bit of business we've done since we swapped Devon White for John Taylor. Now what about John Marquis ? You can have him for free.

Simpsons team selection was poor and he did have options tonight.
This whole thing of starting Mellish in midfield is a big no no, he's not a midfielder ffs we had enough of Beech playing him there and it didn't work so it's definitely not going to work in L1, he should only ever be playing in defence where he's actually useful and should have been tonight because we were opened up so easy.

All our forward players aren't good enough except maybe Gibson and Garner. Moxon needs a proper kick up the arse or maybe L2 is his level after all.

Yeah you are far, far better than Carlisle. Still cannot believe we only came away from there with a point.

Not sure you’re going to have enough to finish above 3 others though.

Agree with nearly all of that, especially the Mellish part. Mental to start a centre back as an attacking midfielder while McCalmont and Butterworth warm their arses on the bench.

I do think Moxon is suffering from being in a shit team. Increase the quality around him and we’ll see his class again. If he goes to Blackpool he starts dominating again playing with better players.

Draw with Rovers a fair result overall, they got what they deserved a bit at the end for letting us dominate most of the second half and offering next to nothing on the break - Having said that if Luke Thomas scored that chance we’d have lost.

Our performance very typical of us, dominate the games possession but offer very little if anything with it - Cox only had one save to make despite most of the game being played in Rovers half.

Our equaliser summed the game up for both sides. Rovers for its worth took the lead and for the most part saw the game out, backed themselves to sit deep and see the game out and it nearly worked.

So true and whenever I see a team selection with Mellish starting in midfield I just know it's going to be shit.

Simpson needs to stop playing him there or serious questions will start getting asked.

If anyone gets the chance, watch Barnsley’s winner against Wycombe - awful officiating IMO to allow it.
