So Texas beat OU, Baylor and KSU and didn't even end up bowl eligible. Pretty much as I predicted pre-season. :dk:

I don't even give a shit who wins between Michigan State and Iowa and I had about 19 heart attacks watching this last series. If you post in this thread and don't watch college football you don't deserve to live.

I thought it was a done deal that Payton was leaving at the end of the season, pretty much full clear out of the coaching staff in NO isn't it? The cap space issue makes the offseason pretty interesting, especially for the likes of Brees, not sure on his number but if he isn't carrying much dead money they may well ship him out. Currently standing at $4.1M the Saints have to find just to get back to the black, they certainly need some good drafts in the next few seasons. Same goes for the Dolphins, they are the other team in a massive cap mess - $4.5M for them to overturn.

Not confirmed as of yet but he's allegedly 'open to other opportunities' so to speak. I would like us to go in a different direction as I'm sick of us signing defensive busts on lucrative deals. Bar 2013 we've been absolutely woeful on D in the last few years and in the last two years our lack of clutch play has cost us two division championships easily. Brees I believe will earn $19 million in 2016 and the hit is $10 million should we get rid. I think, unless Brees genuinely wants to leave, we should keep him for 2016 and see what numbers he can produce under what I assume will be a new coaching set-up. I still think he's got another 2-3 years in him yet but it's the absolute bust signings on D like Byrd and Browner that are killing us. We've also taken a hit on Jimmy Graham and Junior Galette which has also come back to bite us on the arse.

I think Kenny Vaccaro will leave this season, shame that as he looked great in 2013 but hasn't been helped by the woeful secondary busts we've placed around him.

Florida-Alabama was a bit of a let down. I know Bama were heavy favourites but I expected Florida would give them more of a game considering the occasion. First half was pretty tight but Bama blew them away in the second.

Well you've levelled it up now Bobbin.

Nick Foles doing what Nick Foles does there. Really hasn't worked out this trade.

It's neither funny or sad how bad the Cleveland Browns are. It's just...I don't know. Put them out of their misery.

Yep one such example is the sheer ineptitude in terms of hussling up to the line at the end of the half. I feel sorry for their fans, deserve a lot better than this.

You do wonder if the kinder thing is if Haslam just moves them.

Nice pick up on one of the microphones by one of the Cards defenders after that Foles incompletion "Y'all better stop fucking with me".

Blaine Gabbert just did something good :eyes::eyes::eyes:

I just don't know what to believe any more.

Come on Texans and Giants, I'd like our division to be wrapped up now if at all possible.

You mean they can't rely on the Jags or Titans beating the Colts? Or on Brian Hoyer to lead a game winning drive? Or winning in Indy (which they've never done)?

Sigh. It's not like they should be here anyway.

Haha exactly.

Think we'll finish 8-8 now, that's if they can stop giving away costly penalties!

Just little unnecessary kickoff penalties as well. 89 penalty yards doesn't seem like a lot but there was at least one sack struck off for one of them and a few were on things like being ahead on the kickoffs. Even if Luck isn't back then they'll need to be much better to have a chance in Indy.

8-8 is a moral victory after the 2-5 start. Feels like a let down from the start of the season though.

The Eagles are one dumb team. Given up nearly 100 yards in penalties already in the first half. Can't even say how well the Pats have played as the Eagles are pretty much doing our work for us.

Yeah, special teams were all over the place.

We managed to lose about 20 yards when Mumphery let that punt go as well.

Panthers not having it their own way against the Saints. Were down 14-0, but fought back with 2 touchdowns. Then they get the extra point on the 2nd touchdown blocked and it gets run all the way down the other end for 2 points for the Saints. Newton also got injured on a sack and doesn't seem 100%.

That was nasty on Cam there, nothing wrong with the hit as he's a runner but that's the risk you take.

Aye, looked painful, don't think he saw him coming either.

Raiders have taken the lead against us, just when they get me excited again looks like it's gonna turn to crap.
