Oh well, They'd been at it all game and the player raised his hands anyway. He did catch him in the face so IMO the ref actually got that right.

Think Wimbledon did well tbf. Closed us down and gave us no time on the ball so we couldn't play which forced us to go long everytime which wasn't working at all. They were frustrating Greeny aswell so the defenders were doing something right.

I'd start Thomas in place of Chapman who has been awful since coming back. Rose can sit deep and do the dirty work, he can play abit aswell. Thomas will get forward and support Green more and I'd like to see us go abit more attacking next week. Do think when Blair is fit we'll have a winger who actually wants to get into the box which will help.

Still, lost 1 in 6 which isn't a bad return for a new team. Not sure what some are expecting this season but if we finished in 8th place I'd be over the moon. Reading Stagsnet it seems some think we should be challenging for top 3.

When did Tom Elliott turn good? He always looked rubbish and clumsy when I've seen him in the past. I was happy when he got subbed off yesterday, he looked a right threat!

I really hope Murray bizarre tactical decisions improve with experience.

I hope fans expectations and understanding improve. You need to listen to his interviews, what he's doing is right and we've come along way since last season and were still improving.

One thing I've learnt though.. why the fuck have we signed Beardsley, honestly wished we offered Rhead more as he was a better option for hold up play.

That was a absolute bag of shite. I've only got over how bad that game was. Two poor teams on display. The quality (lack of) of the football was shocking.

The referee's display was embarassing, but so was the way both sets of players were throwing themselves to the ground and rolling around.

Red card wasn't one and we should have had a stonewall penalty (no doubt on either point). However if we had one that would have been a massive injustice. In fact, given each team's display, neither team deserved a point let alone three. If I had my way I would have given each team zero points.

Roll on Yeovil...

His interviews are a waste of time.

FYI I am being very understanding but he's going to have to improve big time tactic wise, he's doing a decent job overall so far though, obviously.

Regarding Beardsley, he's honestly nowhere near good enough for this level. Rhead might actually be a better option. Fucking hell that is saying something.

He was a late comer to FT football (26) but didn't have any injury issues until his second season with Grimsby. I can't remember which way round he did it but he did his cruciate, came back and then ruptured his Achilles in his other leg.

His only issue here has been a slight hamstring injury in the last 10 days where we've just played it safe with him. Not been that bad because he's been able to take part in fitness tests and has been in full training all week.

As above, Hearn signed a one year deal.

Word from our end, via Hearn probably, was that you offered him a 6 month deal with a basic wage that he couldn't live on but incentivised with appearances/goals. We offered him a one year deal with a better, but still low, basic wage and appearance/goal bonuses.
I'm pretty sure the guy rolls around in a 50k Audi, that's a expensive lease!

If he does, he doesn't turn up to the Sin Siro in it!
