Vale face a daunting task at the Macron Stadium against one of the divisions form sides in Bolton.

Vale's dreadful away record and current form wont give us Valiants much confidence heading into the game but a superb second half performance last weekend has buoyed the fans to a degree.

Vale are riddled with injuries, key players Anton Forrester, Sam Foley and one of the divisions top hit men Alex Jones are set to miss out, Martin Patterson also looks likely to fail to make it.

Vale have sold over 700 pre-sale tickets so should be in line for a modest 1000 or so away following, an usually low amount for us to the Manchester area but away form and high ticket costs look likely to put many off.

Cant see us winning this certainly, hard to see us scoring in the 4-5-1 with Big Reg against the experience of Wheater, although his octopus like limbs may cause him a few surprises! A shit, Curocaoan Peter Crouch if you will!

My first away game of the season... haven't seen us score in the last 7 or 8 I've been too away from home!

Parkinson seems to have made Bolton a solid outfit, very much like his Bradford sides where 1-0 will usually do, need to be wary of Clough, goes down easy judging by Monday so Streete and Smith need to be wary of that with their inexperience.

A 2-0 loss for me, have the quality to get something but with injuries and poor form cant see it... only chances I can see us getting or free kicks around the box with Ryan Taylor.

Might depend which kit we wear as to the outcome:

Away from home:

In the White Home Kit - P2 D2
In the Maroon Third Kit - P1 W1

In the Yellow Away Kit - P5 L5

Cant wear the white so lets go for the maroon please kitman!

If we keep it bellow 4-0 to Bolton I'd be surprised. Think it's going to be another long depressing afternoon.

Too many injuries to key players and poor away form means I can't see us getting anything here.

Anything less than a 3-0 defeat will be a bonus. I would probably have gone had the tickets not been so overpriced though.

893 pre sale tickets so should be 1200 or so.

Interesting team selection... three wingers so assume Thomas is in behind Cecilia

Seems people in Bolton never learnt the alphabet at school, we have tickets for row D which turns out to be the front row rather than 4th back, and they are soaked.

They can afford private education based on the pricing! £7 to Park on a rubble car park!

Can't believe I'm saying this but Bruno has to go. Totally battered again, performance wise it's been the same as the last few games and no battle no fight nothing.

First goal back off and give Clough the freedom to pick his spot, second shouldn't count but have to stay alert to the whistle.

Making Sami Ameobi look like Ryan fucking Giggs it's that bad.

Time for plan B or league two awaits.

A guy near me climbed over the barrier to go after the linesman but got thrown out. His mates complained to the stewards that it was the linesman's fault.

Most fight anyone connected to Vale has shown all afternoon. Clearly Grant wants out not even trying.
