Not again... Surely?

I had this one down as our first defeat but this weekend's results certainly look to give us more hope. Brighton are a top 3 side so for me so I am surprised they've not started better.

We'd happily take a point in this one. Took a few knocks in Saturday's derby so we may make some changes, but Wagner likes to rotate anyway.

If we struggled to contain a youthful and energetic Brentford on Sat I do fear for us slightly tomorrow. But at the same it was our first home defeat in bloody ages and I'd expect (or hope) Hughton will get the necessary reaction from the side as we haven't just become shit overnight.

Definitely want to see Stephens and Goldson restored to the XI though, they were both crucial to two key partnerships in the spine of the side last season, and we've felt their absence these past few games.

As far as guessing the outcome, who knows what to expect from any given game in this league anyway, I'll just turn up and watch!

On Udders, I'm not one to blow my own trumpet but I do remember predicting decent things for you guys based on the football Wagner had you playing not long after his arrival in the game at the Amex last season, seems he's brought in the necessary quality at the back (whilst shipping out Lynch et al) as I seem to recall that was the main thing holding you back.

Have that feeling tonight will end our run, but it's nice to know we'll still be top going into Saturday's game at home to QPR.

Can see a few changes occurring, with a few picking up knocks on Saturday.

Guarenteed that Knockaert will score though.

^ You guessed it.

Phew, big win to get things back on track. Required an absolute howler from Ward but we will take it.

Shame that, sounded to be on course for a hard fought point. Was always going to be a big ask tonight, but seen nothing to dampen my enthusiasm just yet.

That Mooy guy, doesn't look like he should be any good, but boy does he he know how to locate the space in midfield and get on the ball with proper frequency. He didn't cause much damage in the end (the forwards he was feeding were kept relatively quiet) but I can't recall an opposition player at the Amex seeing quite so much of the ball in some time.

Great to see other teams recognise a real player when they see one.

Knew our run would come to an end but we're still top going into Saturday's game at home to QPR.

Called it with Knockaert, he loves playing against us!

Gutted for Ward, he's kept us in games so many times this season so I aren't going to berate him for the howler.

Fully expect Brighton to be up there come May.
