Shit game, Cov deserved all 3 points but we're Champions so I'm not really arsed. Only downside is the 100 point landmark can no longer be reached :( 99 it is then!! :bg:

As for Coventry, Mowbray has clearly got you well organised and you played some good stuff. If he stays you'll do well next season.

Fair play to Coventry, they played well and Reda was a beast at the back for them. for us, it DID have a feel of 'after the lord Mayors show' but we don't care. We were pretty poor by our usual standards but I suppose it was inevitable and that takes nothing away from a vastly improved sky blues side.
Out of interest, from Williams block B, Johnsons tackle on Agard in the 1st half looked like a pen, anyone have a better view? Not that it was deserved as we weren't good today but hey, who cares?
We are the Champions. Nice of the Coventry fans to join in with the applause towards the end of the match and I wish them well for next season, a really nice bunch!

I was in the Dolman and it was never a penalty mate, Johnson won the ball.

Congrats Bristol City ... Now you can't reach 100 you can come to us next Saturday, we win, and we can all celebrate together. That's a plan, right ?

Thanks Aaron, it looked quite 'agricultural' from where I was but the view wasn't the best.

I wondered what Cotterill was talking about when he said we should've had a penalty! He must've been talking about the same incident. I guess he would've had a bad view of it as well though

It wasn't a penalty, but the exact same challenge happened in the middle of the park and he blew up against Freeman. Thought he was quite a fussy referee!

It was a very strange game today. Hard to get up for the match when considering Tuesday, but I had a fantastic song and dance in the stand. It was a bit of a training match to be fair - I think we had several gears to go up but Cov played well and more than deserved a point. I think the game was summed up by Frankie rolling the ball out to Derek Williams who wasn't watching.

I had a wander on the pitch for a couple of minutes but scuttled off when people wanted the team back for a round of applause. Still can't belive half the Dolman skulked off before the final whisle... It's been sixty years boys!

What a dull encounter that was - but the celebrations after have more than made up for it.

On the pitch, lap of honour, and then a pub crawl - if Carlsberg did Saturday's..

Anyway - CHAMPIONES CHAMPIONES OLE OLE OLE

Apparently four clean sheets on the road is a new club record...

Thought that was our best performance of the season yesterday and that point away from home will do us the world of good considering we play Crewe and Crawley next.

Thought Pennington and Reda were superb. Fleck and Ward were decent also.

All in all it was a good day, with both teams getting the result they wanted. Making for a great atmosphere at the end of the game with a pitch invasion. I still cannot get that cider song out of my head!

I haven't got that song out my head since I went to Ashton Gate 8 years ago!

Awful game I think but all a bit of a blur. Fair play to Coventry fans for congratulating us and the blokes high fiving across the netting.

Johnson was solid but his clumsy side would have given us a penalty with a different ref.

Great day in Bemmy followed by partying in Pam Pams with Ayling and Richards in attendance.

I was in the Williams, looked like a stonewall penalty.

Championship next season then! We played badly for our standards and we can't get 100 points anymore, but on the bright side we have won the league! :)

I've watched the highlights and it looked a stonewall, and the commentator said as much. But from my view in the Dolman you could see he cleanly won the ball. No one around me appealed

Definite stonewaller based on the highlights, can't make tackles from behind like that these days. Welcome
