Is everything a dick waving contest for you? I swear you always have to say how someone else does something better. No matter what the subject.
It was a joke and a fact, get over yourself kiddo, have a wank and smile through the day.

Wow, so your clubs average attendance could fit comfortably into one stand with 5000 seats to spare. Why even open the rest of the ground? :D
Eh? Our average is 21k.....when did you last get that in the stadium [emoji2]

As long as it's the right bleedin' length, unlike last year. :ffs:
How the hell did the main contractor order steel the wrong sodding length? £45M and couldn't even get that right.
Out of interest, are there still steel works in and around Sheffield? Excuse my ignorance.

Would you ever fill that?

If we ever reach the Prem, then yes we would. However, in this division I'd like to think around the 20k mark for average.

New stadiums do attract more people to go, look at Cardiff? I remember when they were getting 4,000 at Ninian Park.

Given the top of the new Williams will also only be opened on demand it won't have the feeling of being as empty with people up there and not in the lower part.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
I see Bristol City really have a dream team of failed AFC Bournemouth coaches in their youth system now. Good luck guys.

Paul Groves as academy manager, and funnily enough his first decision is to hire his bessie mate Shaun Brooks as U18 manager. The article on their site conveniently forgets to mention how they were both sacked from here a few years ago. City obviously didn't ask for a reference then...

You know the reason behind them being sacked?

Groves and Brooks' nickname around the club became Dumb and Dumber. Results aren't everything at youth level, but the results were dire, and nothing was produced under their watch. They were brought to the club in the first place because they were friends with the club chairman at the time, which says a lot.

Their short period in charge of the first team before being busted back down to youth (before finally being sacked) brought about some rather depressing times and turgid football (with a very good budget by our standard at the time). They were finally sacked shortly after their chairman friend was bought out and they then had no one in power to keep them at the club.

For further backstory, Shaun Brooks used to coach and later manage Dorchester Town of the Conference South, who at that time were owned and chairmen-ed by..you guessed it..that same former chairman!

Groves ends up at your gaff, and immediately appoints his mate ...how long will it be before one Eddie Mitchell turns up at Bristol City matches in corporate boxes quaffing all the booze?

Well the running of our academy's always been amateur, so there won't be any change there. Probably saw the words ex-Bournemouth and hired them on the spot.

Aren't they only opening it if 'need arises'?
I fancy the back of the lower tier myself. Everyone seems to want upper tier at the front.
