Grayson has always had the edge over Cotterill, the sour faced c*** (not bitter).

I must be in some nightmare scenario since the final day of last season when we beat Walsall with Flint's hat-trick and JET scoring 2. I'll wake up soon.

Just fucking shit, we are the most inefficient team going. They score 2 goals from only 2 chances, one of which Little gifted them.

Unbelievable that we aren't competing with Preston with the significant extra attendance we have.

Cotterill can fuck off complaining about how Preston were able to rest players on the weekend and we can't. We gave them half their back up for gods sake.

If you dont call a through on goal run where you beat the keeper and hit the post a chance what do you call it?

A chance, obviously.

Read again.

What isn't a chance is when our ex Premier CB decides to plant a bullet into his own net.

Im pretty sure if you put a dangerous ball in to the box and put a defender under pressure so he makes a mistake its called creating a chance.

I'd agree Preston weren't looking to attack, when the opportunity arose they tried, but attacking wasn't their first instinct. A lot of time wasting as well, notable at the end, Woods sits down on the edge of the pitch with the ref telling him if he wants medical attention he needed to sit on the side and at the same time 3 Preston players wanting attention.

But fair play to Preston took their chances when they had them and kept us out, any result could have been seen as a fair outcome today, if we'd taken one or two of our chances or if we hadn't conceded near the end.

Just goes to show you don't have to be very good to survive in this division.

And we still don't, just get past MK somehow.

The goals conceded tells the story, same amount of goals scored but conceded double the amount. It's why we were successful under Johnson, may have been dull at times but didn't conceded too many and ground out 1-0 wins as well, something I don't think this side is capable of, if we win we will have had to score 2 or 3.

We haven't even managed to beat Charlton. Bolton or MK Dons, and we've played two of them at home. We are screwed.

We are shite and the club is a shambles. No more discussion to be had really.

Preston scored 23 conceded 23. We've scored 23 and conceded 46 yet still the BLITHERING IDIOT bangs on post match about how many chances we need to create to score.

JUST SORT OUT THE DEFENCE MAYBE?

That was a professional performance by Preston. They knew what they wanted and they just soaked up our pressure and made their chances count. Pretty much every team to beat us at Ashton Gate this season have scored with their attacks and not had many ineffective journeys into our defensive third I think. Which tells you a lot about how leaky and shit we are.

That first half was utterly dire. I want my 45 minutes back and after WBA then this and then Boro this coming weekend can I be fucked to go and watch WBA again next week? It'd be 4 games in 11 days. Urgh.

I wouldn't say we came for a point. That's our game plan every away game, give the opposition a lot of the ball and try and hit them on the counter. We broke a couple of times first half but not enough. Second half was much better from both teams.

That was a game we totally couldn't afford to lose, and we have done. Out of excuses I'm afraid now Cotterill... and abusing our fans??? Classy.

I predicted as a joke that Cunningham would score a late winner, but for it to actually happen just takes the biscuit. This season is like a dark ironic comedy! Whatever next?? Clough to sign for Middlesbrough before Saturday and score a hat trick?

UTW. Play off charge is on the cards....:ds:

As for the Bristol fan who said 'You should be safe now'. The majority of North End fans have known all season we will be fine. It was only a matter of time before we started moving up the table as our performances have been generally good all season, and we have yet to receive a spanking like all the teams at the bottom have, on numerous occasions.

Fkn delighted this morning. How did Pearson look on his debut for those nobbers in attendance?
